This is so awful I don't hardly know what to say, but this afternoon my beautiful daughter
came home with an extraordinary note from Landover Freedom Charter School.
As you all know, my daughter -- like her peers -- is a mere helpless child who needs constant instruction, direction and supervision from adults. Thanks to a life spent nestled in the womb of the Landover educational system, she remains an innocent lamb and oblivious to secular blasphemies such as LGBT.
So, WHY!!!!!! has her school violated my trust by sending out the following announcement in anticipation of the LGBT "Day of Silence", which apparently is scheduled for tomorrow:
Please understand my reasons for not speaking today. I am participating in the Day of Silence (DOS), a national movement bringing attention to the silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies. My deliberate silence echoes that silence, which is caused by anti-LGBT bullying, name-calling and harassment. I believe that ending the silence is the first step toward building awareness and making a commitment to address these injustices. Think about the voices you are not hearing today.
What are you going to do to end the Silence?
They WANT her to give that message to her teachers, to explain why she's not talking!
Bobby-Joe, send out the security guard, and find out who's responsible for this atrocity.
