Pardon if I spoke too soon. Let me re-evaluate my standpoint. I first read the (admittedly dangerous novels) out of curiosity. Know thine enemy, no? What I found is (which I worded poorly above) is that the novels are entertaining to a degree, partially because of how humorous it is to see just how damned every character would be. However, while not safe for it's target age group, it would be a valuable tool for educating (about just how far some will go to turn us away from God) children who have the intelligence to know the book is wrong.
