    Pediabear Stories: What's your favorite?

My congregation has several of the Pediabear books. The kids just love them come story time!

    We have:

    Pediabear Stays After School

Our pal Pediabear was caught doodling in math class. Now Mr. Johnson wants to see him after class. Pediabear's going to learn what doodling is all about!

    Pediabear's Sunday School Adventure

Sunday is Pediabear's favorite day. He gets to see Ms. Daniels at Sunday School, who teaches him about Jesus! But this week, a man meets him outside the church and says there's a field trip. An adventure!

Ouch, That Hurts! Pediabear's First Injection

The doctor's office can be scary. Doctor Cassells has a pretty big needle . . . Where is he going to stick that? OUCH! Will Pediabear get a lollipop if he's a good bear?

Pediabear and the Odd Catholic Priest

Father O'Malley's breath smells funny, like he uses too much mouthwash. And even though Pediabear isn't a Catholic, Father O'Malley is always asking him to come to the confessional. What will Pediabear do?

    Pediabear Meets a Clown

Some kids find clowns scary. How will Pediabear respond when he takes his favorite short-cut down an alley and finds a man dressed up like a hobo clown lurking in the dumpster?

Pediabear and the Mystery of the Disappearing Salami

Mr. Vitanelli's Italian Deli has a problem. The biggest, best salamis keep disappearing! Can Pediabear solve the case? The first of the Pediabear Mystery Series.

    Which one is your favorite?

I have to confess that I have not (yet) red any of those Pediabear Books, but they sure sounds like wholesome reading for the children.

I remember "Pediabear learns to keep a special secret."
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

Oooh, that one sounds good! Is the special secret the fact that Jesus will only Save those who repent?

Re: Pediabear Stories: What's your favorite?

My uncle used to read me "Thumbs up for Pediabear" to get me to sleep. He would give me a nice glass of milk and I always used to nod off before the end of the story so I'm not sure how it finished though.
Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

I've never read the pediabear stories, lived overseas when I was younger, but they sure sound wholesome to me. That's the problem, these days, too much witchcraft and satanism in children's stories, not enough good old fashioned religion and truth. Really, people wonder why the world is going down the drain when people aren't raising their children with the Lord.

Curious Pediabear and the Man with Free Candy

Pediabear is walking home from the park when a white van pulls up along Pedi and offers him some free candy.

Does Pedi climb in and take the free candy?

You will have to read the book to find out.

I'd like to state that I am fully against Pediabear. In the world of today where children have access to the internet they can easily find such things as this - http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/pedobear -
I therefore do not condone Pediabear as it is only a step away from being misunderstood as a pedophile bear that only wants to rape our young children. The author of the book should have though of the name of the bear before deciding on "pediabear".
My children have been taught that anything can be misconstrued and misunderstood by any person they are talking to. You should al be ashamed of yourself for pushing these books into the fragile minds of our children!
It was God who created the light that shines on me! No science can say otherwise.

Please introduce yourself here, in the aptly named "Introduction Forum."

Let us know what church you attend, how you came to serve our Lord and Master Jesus Christ, and your favorite 1611 King James Bible verse.

You know, tell us the important stuff, the stuff that makes you human! I think there's something special about you.
The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.~Joel 1:12
