Living a life of luxury and pampering? Never having to work yet getting food and housing anyway? The surprising thing is that there are a few lazy democrats who didn't choose the down syndrome lifestyle.

While you are moisturising, perhaps you'd like to consider some of the "symptoms" described in The Bible and explain how come they are cast out by exorcism?

Obviously, The Bible does not use the expression "Down syndrome" because Dr Down had not been born when God's complete and inerrant word was recorded. But all of its so-called "symptoms" and "behaviours" are described and Jesus responded by casting the demons out.

Now sometimes God sends an evil spirit to attack someone (king Saul for example) but are you suggesting that He sends possessing demons to occupy babies? No, these demons are invited in by an act of will. Perhaps the child (or the parents or grandparents back as far as the 10th generation in some cases) did not fully understand the consequences of their choices. But that does not make them suddenly "NOT choices" does it?

Say I think I can fly and jump off a cliff. Well, I didn't have to make that choice. I mightn't have understood that in the event of non-flight the most likely outcome would be crashing headfirst into ground. But that doesn't mean it isn't a choice.

The thread details the sorts of choices resulting in the particular demon or demons, often there are several involved, and who makes them. Just imagine how that great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandmother feels now that the price she chose is being paid. Jesus is the only answer.

I am 76 years old and I have never been sick, ever. All it takes is believing in Jesus and prayer!

    Matthew 21:22
    King James Version (KJV)

22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Friend, Not a single True Christian(tm) ever is sick or has infirmities. On the other hand, every single sinner I know has all sorts of problems.

Tell me, what kinds of problems are you having? You know, if you let Him, Jesus will cure you. If you prove your devotion to God, anything is possible.

Friend, all babies are born both pure and chock full of sin.

The moment that life begins (at the point of egg creation) the baby begins to make critical life altering choices. This choice making, a gift from God know as 'Free Will', continues until the persons last breath.

Why do you want to deny a persons right to choose?

Of course, all those things are punishments of sins and sins are caused by making the choice of living life in sin. All of those can be cured with prayer, if the horrible sinner repents.

I think you should watch a video called the Evolution of Satan. Satan was not the one who tempted eve in the garden, it was a snake. There are several different meanings of Satan in the bible. satan=Agent of destruction or punishment. This was used in several places to describe normal people betraying someone (becoming a satan) against them. It was also used to describe adversaries or rivals. There is also the definition of hassatan, or the satan. This was the first example of a non-human satan. This version of satan can't act outside of god's permission, has limited powers and is not the same satan mentioned in the new testament. In the new testament, Satan is a proper noun in the hebrew, and becomes the full blown opposer and ultimate evil that we see him as now. This is all taken from the original hebrew of the bible, so it's accurate.
Did you read the Scripture I posted? Here it is again:

    I TIMOTHY 2:14
    ROMANS 5:12

NUMBERS 14:18 Children for 4 generations punished: BECAUSE OF A CHOICE
DEUTERONOMY 23:2 Children punished unto 10 generations: BECAUSE OF A CHOICE
DEUTERONOMY 23:3 Contamination through cross-cultural "identities" even worse: BECAUSE OF A CHOICE
GENESIS 9:25 Progeny blasted in perpetuity: BECAUSE OF A CHOICE
JOSHUA 1–24 God's just retribution: BECAUSE OF A CHOICE
JUDGES 1–21 Real consequences for real people: BECAUSE OF A CHOICE

In all those examples, as you will see when you read them, the choices are lifestyle choices. All such choices are sinful and it is easy to see which people are suffering as a result of the "Sin" lifestyle. Suffering with demons. God does not blast at random. His justice is perfect. From the time of Eve's pollution right up to the hurling down it's all about choice.

REVELATION 12:9 Satan is blasted too: BECAUSE OF A CHOICE

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and nigh
Check out the original language here
Compare in particular the treatment of Satan in verse 9 with Michael and the dragon in verse 7

Of all the demons crouched beneath the bowels of the earth itching to get in you and mess you up not one has authority in its own right. Jesus knows that and we know that too. It is very easy to get them inside without knowing that's what you're doing although once they're ensconced you'll know quite well they're there. Their lusts become your lusts and you're utterly at their mercy. Except that they don't have mercy and the Down's demon in particular occupies infants before birth. Satan knew that required choices and successfully corrupted Eve. Eve communicated her foul lifestyle choices—sin, sin and more sin—to perfect Adam but Jesus sets us free. The proof of this pudding is in the eating: visit any Christian church and you will nary a demoniac see, especially no Down's demoniacs. Jesus has set them free.

The New Testament wasn't written in Hebrew.

    From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_testament:

"...The New Testament is an anthology, a collection of Christian works written in the common Greek language of the first century, at different times by various writers, who were early Jewish disciples of Jesus of Nazareth. In almost all Christian traditions today, the New Testament consists of 27 books. The original texts were written in the first and perhaps the second centuries of the Christian Era, generally believed to be in Koine Greek, which was the common language of the Eastern Mediterranean from the Conquests of Alexander the Great (335–323 BC) until the evolution of Byzantine Greek (c. 600)..." <emphasis mine>
