Friend, why all the hatred of retards? Is it the drooling? Incessant repetitive questions? The racket of the heads banging against the walls?
Without these damaged people, how are normal Christian folk every to know when other people have angered God? And what did Jesus do next?

He cast out the demons. Jesus who made the world and everything in it and who knows everything about it recognised the same symptoms that we recognise and Jesus knew these were demons. Generally speaking The Bible does not name demons yet just because some modern doctors have come up with names for the various "symptoms" are they any less demons?

Would Jesus no longer need to exorcise them?

I noticed in post #866 (which was quite long and off topic) that NO REASON was given why these symptoms arise in the first place. Perhaps characteristics would be a better word so as to avoid confusion. These are characteristic of devils:

Jesus did not mention neurological disorders. Sometimes people say to me "OH, but in those days they thought epilepsy was a devil," suggesting I suppose that these days we know better. Better than the Creator of the universe? Even from the secular stance of big bangs and Darwinism how could a simpler system (the human mind) possibly comprehend a far more complex system (the entire universe)? Remember, the secularist sees no reason why there shouldn't be other self aware species distributed across infinity so in their model the complexity including all those additional countless minds must be very complex indeed. Yet all created by God and within His ken and still they know better?

The characteristics of this particular devil are given:

• being sorely vexed
• hurled into fire
• convulsing oft into the water
• look up

Additional characteristics are described by Mark:

• deaf and dumb - caused by a foul spirit, confirmed by Jesus

Jesus spoke directly to these demons. Sometimes the demons replied. How could that be if there were no demons?

There is a reason why these cursed progeny are afflicted. There are other curses—the curse of perpetual servitude for example—but here we see quite ovbious evidence for very specific characteristics. The cause is sin. Satan presents "lifestyle choices" with real consequences. He knows what they are and prefers to keep fools in ignorance. For such abominable choices multiple generations are blasted.

Numbers 14:18 The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation. KJV

How do you know what lifestyle abominations were embraced by the grandparents or great-grandparents or great-great-grandparents of the generation being born today? Flapper girls maybe? Learing how to flaunt themselves in front of idols to a hot jazz beat? There is a price to pay. Following another religion? There is a price to pay.

Exodus 20:3-5 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. When we see evidence for that—the curse itself—we know that it t results from a lifestyle choice and is rectified by exorcism. Jesus knew that. The demons know that. And the prayer of faith ALWAYS brings deliverance.

Jesus delivers from:

• Affliction
• Illnesses
• Sin

I call that very strong evidence. Having read Jesus' own words on this subject, with all the characteristics of these foul spirits described (I have listed a few of them but there are many more), with the causes proclaimed (again, I've just mentioned one or two), with the remedy made plain how can there be any doubt remaining?

I was browsing through your site because of another article, but a link to this one caught my eye first. What I found here has horrified me, and I'm sure God has surely wept at the audacity of the people who claim to worship Him, if, indeed, these are your true sentiments and this is not meant as satire, which I have a strong feeling it isn't.

While I do believe that being gay is a lifestyle choice, my mind was truly blown at the animosity thrown so callously toward some of the Father's most precious ones. Two quotes in particular caught my eye because of the utter lack of any sort of Christian love, whatsoever.

By acting like complete idiots they avoid scrutiny and get passed all checks in our system to receive free care and free money without ever having to do anything to actually deserve all that. (The person who wrote this is so uneducated, I'm surprised he can read the funny papers, much less the Holy Word of God.)

Since they lack soul, you don't have to feel guilt if you're cruel to a mongo." (This statement goes beyond just uneducated to sheer lunacy.)

How do you people live with yourselves thinking of God's most innocent that way? No, I do not have a Downs child, but I have known many, and I can say beyond the shadow of a doubt that they showed more evidence of a soul than has been displayed by some of the people here.

If this kind of hate is what you teach at your church, then it is surely not God's church, for he is a God of love. But, he is also a jealous and angry God, and I would be shaking in my shoes if I had spewed some of the hate on this page. Don't be fooled. God has a plan for each and every soul he brings to this earth, including all of you. And He nor His plans will Not be mocked.

How many imperfect people do you welcome into your church with genuine love? If a bum, homeless, too smelly to be able to sit close to sat down on a pew to worship, how many of you would shake his hand and take him to dinner at your house or even a restaurant afterward, then ask him to please come back?

Oh, and to those who feel that sickness is a curse from God to a sinner everytime it happens, how many of your family member's souls must be doomed to he'll by that theory? If your wife gets cancer, do you call her a sinner and kick her out of the church? Please explain why Paul, one of God's greatest leaders in the early church was allowed to suffer?

“Sickness” is caused by sin. And the context is right there in Deuteronomy. God's judgement was upon the

all of whom were vile brutes deserving only of death. Their wives were vile, all their children vere vile and don't even mention the babies: repugnant filth to the last toenail. God did just that, explaining His Perfect Judgement and the reward for complying. From the historical record:

Part of that reward is freedom from sickness. Christians participate in God's Perfect Love to an even greater extent. And the reward is greater. Not only are we set free from sin altogether (and therefore from sickness) but we are able to heal others. Jesus explains:

17a And these signs shall follow them that believe;
18b ..they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Now, if that is true, please go to a doctor. Tell him that. Get checked. And help humanity (Jesus will love you for helping people) by letting scientist study you, and find why havent you been sick. Maybe you are the answer to curing humanity of all sickness?

God has already explained why people get sick. He has also explained how the choices resulting in “ill health” or “disease” or “trisomy disoprders” (and any other euphemism you dream up to describe the wages of sin) are often made by parents or grandparents or great-grandparents even back to the tenth generation. They have made lifestyle choices—orgiastic idol rites for example or burning incense the wrong way—with no thought of the castrophe thereby ordered for their progeny. God has explained the consequences. They are without excuse.
