We follow the whole Bible here. No True Christian(tm) wears clothing of mixed materials. This, along with our disapproval of homosexuality, makes us morally upright people. You seem to think that looking to an old book for our morality is misguided, but how is making up your own morality any better? Please start a thread in the introduction forum and tell us what church you go to, what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.

And as for how making up my morality any better, well for starters, my morality doesn't tell me not kill in one part, and then tell me to stone people to death in the next. And I'm actually rather impressed if you do bother to follow that worthless scrap of papers word for word. That must take some dedication. Also since when is christian trademarked?
On a different topic, I'm a wee bit confused here. They say that Jesus died for our sins right? So why am I still supposedly gonna be punished for mine? How does that work? (yes I know it's off topic but we don't really need an entire new thread for one question do we?)

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.

Jesus died for the sins of his elect. Jesus laid down His life for His sheep (Jn 10:14-15), and He will lose none of His sheep (Jn 10:28). If Jesus didn't die for you, your sins will never be forgiven. If He did, you still need to confess your sins before you'll be forgiven (1 Jn 1:9).

Yes, I know what gay men do. I also know what straight men, bisexual men, transgendered men, straight women, bisexual women and lesbian women do. But I know that almost every relationship between anyone does not revolve purely around sex, am I correct?

Family? there is none.

It's a wonderful idea to save our young warriors from the horrors of homisexuality. I ask only how you tell a gay child from any ither's child? Gay is a choice, yes? How do you tell, prior to puberty and the decisions it entails, which children will invite the devil into their hearts? Even the properly raised warrior can go wrong if they choose to abandon God in the becoming of an adult; we have all seen it in our own offspring. What is God's will in the persecution of the unholy?

There may be exceptions but usually the gay choice doesn't come from nowhere. You know this from just watching a child. Does a boy love manly sports like NASCAR or baseball? Or does he like rather girlish sports like soccer? If it's ballet or dancing you can be sure you're dealing with a "confirmed bachelor" already What kind of toys would he choose, guns or dolls? (dolls = queer). These are early decisions that gives you a clue about the later decisions. It's important to spot gay behavior as soon as possible. The process of becoming an ex-gay is much easier for a four year old than for a forty year old!
