Yes. Harsha Shah here! Is Jesus lying in Matthew Gospel Chapter 6?

Yes, it is Harsha Shah here. Yes. I am now spending my time on summer holiday until August the 17 so I can be writing some more on the forum. Yes.

We were doing some RME that is religious and moral education with the children and still another question was surfacing regarding the scientific claims of the Bible. Yes. I am hoping that this does not offend you but some of the children were comparing the natural history of your gospels to our biology books and also doing some data searches and checking the information. Yes.

Your Bible is saying in the gospels of Matthew and Luke (Chapters 6 and 12, verses 26 and 24. The Matthew verse is stating "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?" and the Luke verse "Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?" Yes.

The children were reading the material and they came to me telling that birds are indeed storing food items and that these verses must then be wrong. I hope that I am not offending you.

They had been looking at some pictures and I have them here. These are woodpeckers storing food.

And this is the shrike storing food.

And also the raven is making stores for food. I have a quote here, raven wikipedia.
Ravens may also consume the undigested portions of animal feces, and human food waste. They store surplus food items, especially those containing fat, and will learn to hide such food out of the sight of other common ravens.

Yes. I am afraid that I might be offending you but this is a case where your bible is saying something but the birds are clearly not following its commandments. Yes. I am wishing you all a nice summer and hoping that someone will be finding the time to answer my questions, yes, but I am aware that if my questions are being offensive, it would be perfectly fine if you won't be answering them. Yes.
    "Ecclesiastes 3:7
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak."
Yes. Women are saving lives. It is time we are speaking! Yes!

Miss Shah--This is an example of why Hindu women should not try to read the Bible when they are not supervised.

Recently, one of our Pastors at Landover Baptist preached a sermon on this very topic. He began by reading Psalm 23:5, "thou prepareth a table before me." He explained this is what birds are doing when they place seeds in cracks of trees.

That is, the birds are not storing seeds in violation of the Books of Matthew and Luke. Instead, these are female birds preparing a feasts for their husbands. Letting the seeds dry out in the tree crack making them more delicious is the same thing you will do when you have a husband. You will cook curry and "prepare a table" for him.

It is wonderful how the Bible spells out these same principles so clearly.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Well now, that's you'r problem, dear. You cannot compare two incompatible sources and try to force them to be compatible. What you don't understand is that the Holy Bible is God's Love Letter to mankind. Because He loves us, God reveals to us the workings of Creation, namely, that everything that exists does so by His Command.

In Hebrews 1:3, we see that Christ upholds all things by the word of His power. Colossians 1:17 explains that Christ is before all things, and by Him all things consist. In other words, all things in creation are preserved, or held together, by God's Word.

Scientific texts won't tell you this, as they exist to find ways to distract mankind from the Truth and encourage him to sin without guilt. Science functions to bring mankind to Satan, the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), to do his bidding. Think about it, if the science books were right, their so-called "facts" would be in the Bible already. The true seeker will heed the warnings of the LORD, and keep science at a safe distance (1 Timothy 6:20-21).
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.
