Is it just me, or is this an extraordinarily bold statement?

These "scientists" and "international research papers" are all Democrats. A large percentage of "scientists" are atheists. If they cannot see the truth in the Republican Party or in Jesus their opinions on vaccinations are worthless.Originally posted by Thick As A Brick View PostNope
The origin of this "VaCcInEs CaUsE aUtIsM" thing originated from a paper done in the 1990s that "claimed" vaccines cause autism. It made a connection between the Rubella, mumps, and measles vaccines to malabsorption in the gut leading to autism. It was later proven false and a fraud by 25 international research papers involving large population groups.
We who know the truth simply see autism in people who have been vaccinated. Jesus was not vaccinated. He did not have autism. You really are Thick.

There was no Medicare before 1966, so it couldn't have sucked. Also, are you suggesting that the golden age of medicine has already ended? No major breakthroughs after 1950's?Originally posted by Thick As A Brick View PostOf course there was medicine before the age of medicine. The "age" of medicine refers to a golden time of it where there was huge breakthroughs in it. Before the age, (1930s to 1950s) medicare really just sucked.

No evidence can or will show this claim between vaccines and autism to be true.

12 And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the Lord, but to the physicians.
13 And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign.
James 5:14-16
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
The Bible is very clear on this subject. Sick people, who seek a doctor, die. Sick people, who are prayed over, are healed.

How the hell does popcorn relate to this whole thing?Originally posted by Didymus Much View PostI was asking how you take your damned popcorn, because I'm settling in as this will apparently take a while.
Protip: read stuff that is there, and ignore the stuff that isn't. It'll help with your Bible reading, too.

Re: Getting a Flu Shot this year? Jesus says NO!
Sister Basilissa, I have often pondered on these verses, specifically James 5:14. I have taken it to mean that Our Lord will raise the invalid up to Heaven with his or her sins forgiven. This is certainly the position I adopted when explaining why I was praying for my late step-grandmother-in-law during her later, most demented period and I was delighted when Our Lord duly obliged. But perhaps I was wrong about this?Originally posted by Basilissa View PostJames 5:14-16

The verse preceding refers to the bull, the bollock not unlike the kind that makes up your arguments, dear. Do you cast salt upon it?
It seems he's burned you in this matter, and is asking if you salt your wounds. Your victory is Pyrrhic and shared alone by your lonesome.
No... When he said salt he was indirectly calling me a sore loser... Salty can mean upset or just being a baby.
