I would characterize Mr. James as a "Hearsay Christian". And as we all know, hearsay is not admissible in court.


When we all face Our Lord on The Day of Judgment, the only thing admissible will be Jesus's blood covering of our sins, along with a sincere effort at knowing and obeying His Commands.


People who claim certain things are not sins (due to lack of reading the Bible) can NOT claim Jesus' blood for remission of their sins. However can one repent, submit to The Lord and ask His forgiveness if one dares to disagree with The Lord on what is and what is not a sin?

Another sort of reverse miracle could be cited here as an example of things happening for a reason. I'll only go back to the Roman Empire but I'd be confident the ancient Egyptians knew this too, living along the Nile as they did and relying on it for silt and irrigation; they could also measure things accurately. The Romans are long enough ago at 2,000 years and their aqueducts sufficient evidence for understanding the concept of level. And what could be more conspicuously level than a flood plain? Essentially there are two locations in a diagram I found. This sort of stuff is probably taught to 8 or 9 year olds. And not considering the Egyptians for now, although they would also have understood, surely any Roman could distinguish these locations. One is a good place to build a house. One is a place where, if you build, when the river swells WOOSH! you'll be washed away. And probably drown, especially at night. Which location is which? 1? Or 2?

The reverse miracle is that anyone would get planning approval to build on a floodplain to start with. And when the rain comes, perfectly normal rain according to seasonal variations and on record (as if the floodplain were not a record itself) o woe everyone's surprised there's a flood. Sometimes it's suggested that the planning department or one of its officials was demon possessed. I don't understand why people don't pick up on the signs that God gives us. For example, where do hurricanes hit? The East Coast of the US, where sin abounds. You never hear about a category five hurricane hitting Iowa, do you? When I hear people say, "Everything happens for a reason" I quickly jump in as say, "God decides what happens. God is the reason things happen." The conversation always moves on at that point because everyone within earshot has to agree it is correct.

This is a point that irks me too, Mr Mayor.

The unwashed hear stories of great floods that kill hundreds and a child is found alive 4 days later, and the ignorant declare this is a miracle! Some people become megachurch pastors with mansions, yachts, private jets, front and back yard pools, etc. God gives them these things because they, and their ancestors, were good, God-fearing Christians.

Others are fated by the Lord to die horribly from parasites that slowly eat their eyeballs and then their brains from the inside. They and their ancestors worshipped false gods and demons and idols.

I find people are always looking to put the blame some place and never accept that maybe THEY sinned and the bad things that happen to them and others in their family are a just rebuke from God.
I'll see a retard or some fool with assburgers or missing a limb. Being a kind and concerned person, I'll ask them what horrific sin they did that caused God to inflict such disdain. So often, these unwanted cretins blow up and start a tirade full of expletives. The reason is plain as a hairy mole on a ladies face.

2. They read astrology columns in their pathetic magazines

I don't like diamonds because they look stupid. Rubies are quite nice and some emeralds but I don't wear jewellery. And watches are available with rubies (usually encrusted with diamonds) but again watches are for people who don't know what the time is and I don't fall into that category. The two items here, an emerald tie clip and a ruby watch, are from respectable makers who source their gemstones responsibly. They may or may not care for the environment but do want maximum compliance with regulations and top quality, to max out prices if for no other reason.
