Homosexualism is a lifestyle choice, I was homosexual (though never got as far as the act which makes man sodomite), and I am not anymore. To have sexual intercourse is a choice. You might say something like 'to love a man is not a choice', that is true! But you can show love for someone in many other ways, there is nothing wrong with the liking of your brethren, but abusing them and in that way giving yourself and this friend a one-way-ticket to hell is just plain wrong.

Why should god chose to 'punish' a child with special needs if it was their parents who sinned? Seems rather unfair on gods part.

I am familiar with the Amazon Women and their culture, but they aren't christians, they have a way of life that is much different to modern society, wether it be christian or not. Again, Lesbians do use men's sperm to conceive, but only as they physically cannot. I'm not too familiar on this, but is it a sin to donate sperm? and aren't Homosexuals comdemned by many christians?

You are right in saying thst discrimination is not archaic, my apologies. But if christianity is the 'best' religoin, as stated by many on this forum, then shouldn't you set examples, as christians, by being more tolerant whch in turn could convert more people, perhaps such as myself, to christianity?

And i do not see punishment as nessecary in all cases. If my children misbehave, I talk to them. I don't need to punish them, I can talk to them, explain to them why their actions were wrong, encourage them to think empathetically and see the consequences of their actions. In terms of christianity, couldn't you just accept that you will break at least one of the 613 laws in your lifetime, and 'reach an agreement with god', to say that you will always do your best to adhere to these rules as opposed to taking time to confess/apologise/dwell on your actions? In my eyes, that would make more sense, but I do see how an apology would be a more meaningful portrayal of how sorry you are.

Dear friend, discrimination is not archaic. All you have to do is look at the previous U.S. presidential election. Even though a black man won, how many people said they would never vote for a black man. How many people said they would never vote for a woman? How many black people voted for Obama, solely because he's black? Discrimination is not archaic, it's modern.

As to the "all loving" God question. Do you have kids? Do you always love your kids? Do you love your kids when they misbehave? Of course you would/do. Do the children still need to be punished when they misbehave? Of course they would/do. God is the same way. We are HIS children. When we misbehave (by breaking his 613 laws) we deserve punishment. Most of the time, we are forgiven of our sins, but you really have to want to be redeemed. Do you REALLY want to be redeemed?

In order to REALLY be forgiven of your sins you have to not want to do them anymore.

Most "MODERN" people, don't believe that what they are doing is wrong. Are you this way? You probably don't believe that you are committing sins. You might think to yourself, "I'm a good person". Well friend, you might be a decent person, but you still break God's laws. Heck, just saying you don't break God's law, is breaking the law. And for that, you must be reprimanded, punished.

God will forgive you, but only if you realize that what you are doing is wrong, and ONLY if you decide to change your ways.

Do you want forgiveness? Or do you want God to conform around you?

My name is Mr. Russell. I am not christian.

I've been looking around this forum and most of it is not making any sense to me. I've noticed that many of you beat your wives? How on earth is that Christian? Do you feel the need to control her, or do you feel the need to display power? If you love her enough to marry her, why cause her physical pain? I don't see logic in that at all!
I'm trying my very best not to cause offence to anyone, i am simply trying to have some questions answered rationally. I have noticed that some of you agree with me and my points I am to raise, so this message does not apply to all that use this forum, so apologies to those whom take offence.
Many of you show archaic discrimination that I find shocking. Especially towards those with Special Needs, Homosexuals, etc. You are born Homosexual and you are born with Special Needs. If 'god' is 'all loving' then why would he punish someone, why not treat them as a fellow human?
I also do not understand how hypocritical some of you come accross as. Someone here mentioned that anyone of any other religion is 'scum'. That is pure racism. Again, if 'god' loves everyone, created humans in his own image and gave man free will, then why do you have the right to hate and discriminate those who have used their free will to chose their own religion?
Back to the wife beating point, I cannot begin justify this at all! If your wife was distrusting of you and she decided to paddle you, lock you in the house or have 100% of every aspect of your life, please tell me what your reaction would be? Would you 'let' her? To me, some people on this forum seem extremely sexist.
Not only sexist, but racist, discriminative, and prejudice. To those it may concern, I am not saying this in reference to everyone on this forum, or for that fact all christians, but to me, it does seem a majority of people on this forum are hypocritical of themselves and do not seem to stand for christian morals anymore.
