This forum really makes me laugh. I just realized, if Jesus damns hypocrites, then I'm guessing that 90% of this forum is damned. Allow me to prove my point.

Jesus loves everyone, EVERYONE. Meaning homosexuals, HIV +, AIDS carryers, unsaved people, and even some of you people. Saying Unsaved Not Welcome is just like sorting out black people from white people. Same prejudice in a different skin. If you really want a church to increase, you should welcome EVERYONE, not just already saved people. This church is like the corrupt priests back in Jesus's day. They only cared about what people thought of them, nothing else. People here seem to be kind to fellow "christians", and being kind to everyone might actually be more benificial.

Where is your Scripture to back up that empty argument? If Jesus loves EVERYONE, like you say, why would He damn those who do not accept him to Hell for all eternity? Not very loving, is it?

As for welcoming all these unsaved trash, we are commanded to keep ourselves seperate from Non-Christians, as Paul tells us.

We follow the Bible 100% word for word. We are not hypocrites. You are the hypocrite.

Jesus hates quite a lot of people, actually. The majority of people.

Oh, your arguments are all so flawed. Do you want a passage? I'll give you perhaps the most famous one of all:

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in him, shall not perish but have eternal life.

Of course he damns the wicked, but if you read the Bible at all, he does NOT go to all the sinners who have approached him looking to be saved calling them "unsaved trash", no, he actually saves them. He does not damn them at all. When he was being crucified, one of the other criminals which was being crucified with him asked Jesus for salvation, Jesus did not call him "unsaved trash", now did he? Sounds pretty loving to me.

Perhaps you are familiar with the Amazon Women. They kept men as just sex partners, the women were the warriors, and town leaders.

Perhaps you are familiar with Lesbian couples, who only use men as sperm donors, for when they want to have offspring (think of the secular tv show Friends).

Dear friend, discrimination is not archaic. All you have to do is look at the previous U.S. presidential election. Even though a black man won, how many people said they would never vote for a black man. How many people said they would never vote for a woman? How many black people voted for Obama, solely because he's black? Discrimination is not archaic, it's modern.

As to the "all loving" God question. Do you have kids? Do you always love your kids? Do you love your kids when they misbehave? Of course you would/do. Do the children still need to be punished when they misbehave? Of course they would/do. God is the same way. We are HIS children. When we misbehave (by breaking his 613 laws) we deserve punishment. Most of the time, we are forgiven of our sins, but you really have to want to be redeemed. Do you REALLY want to be redeemed?

In order to REALLY be forgiven of your sins you have to not want to do them anymore.

Most "MODERN" people, don't believe that what they are doing is wrong. Are you this way? You probably don't believe that you are committing sins. You might think to yourself, "I'm a good person". Well friend, you might be a decent person, but you still break God's laws. Heck, just saying you don't break God's law, is breaking the law. And for that, you must be reprimanded, punished.

God will forgive you, but only if you realize that what you are doing is wrong, and ONLY if you decide to change your ways.

Do you want forgiveness? Or do you want God to conform around you?

Because the truth is harsh. We use great plainness of speech, and will not beat around the bush when it comes to someone's eternal soul. Watch out for those people who tell you that it's okay to be gay - they'll take you to hell with them.
It has been said "honey draws more flies than does vinegar." This really isn't a Biblical concept. The Bible teaches the exact opposite. For example, Jude says "Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference, And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh." Furthermore, you should carefully examine all of the preachers (including Jesus) in the Bible. On some, they had compassion. On others, they preached fear. It is our duty to make a difference.
