Liberal Supreme Courts Judges Will Hurt Landover Baptist

Like other True ChristiansTC here, I'm reluctant to side with sinful Catholics on any issue. But we at Landover Baptist share a concern with them on a recent Supreme Court decision. The decision was to allow a court case to continue that challenges the rights of Bishops to tell those in the pews one thing about their money and actually do something else. Those of us in leadership positions at Landover Baptist need the freedom to spend money from the collection plate in the way that serves Jesus even if Pastor Zeke told our people something different. It's called management.

In the case of Catholics, the priests told those in the Pews the annual fund for the poor would be used for that purpose. A good real estate investment opportunity came up so the poor were "postponed." Some cranky church member is taking the Bishop to court over this silly issue.

We here at Landover Baptist often hear Pastor Zeke urge tithing to spread the gospel around the world. Church members have no business knowing where their tithes end up. They might start asking questions about the constant remodeling of the Pastor's residence or his frequent trips to the Philippines.

Supreme Court rejects bishops' appeal in Peter’s Pence case
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

God's hand moves in mysterious ways. The less we look at money transfers involving Churches the better. Their tax free status and protection from almost any scrutiny is the perfect reciipe for luvin' JJjaysus.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

So correct, Dr. Toole. Money and Jesus go hand in hand and the court should stay out of it. For example, preachers are exempt from property taxes on their homes. The homes go up in value and no taxes. This is why preachers build lavish homes, sometimes needing two or more homes. It's God's way of rewarding preachers for serving in His Kingdom.

International money transfers between Churches are also sacred to Jesus. Certainly criminals would not abuse the sanctity of the Lord's house to launder money from, say, the Russian mafia and use it to purchase glitzy condos in the United States.
