    I'm not married yet, and as of now, I don't have any children. I'd love to be a father, however! I'm sure it's a rewarding experience.

    Do I know better than God? Well, that depends on your view of God, really. I have formed my own opinions on how to raise children, and I think to raise a rational adult there are certain criteria people should meet.

    But, that's just me. I can't tell anyone how to raise their children.

    Well, generally if a kid is being disobedient these days, it's the parents fault in some way or another. Not saying there aren't bad children, but sometimes parents can give their children the wrong message about what is right and what is wrong.

    Try to sit the kid down and tell them what they did is bad in a rational way. If they don't get it after that, some form of punishment may be required. But certainly, they don't need to be stoned!

    I admit to not having contemplated this question before, as none of my children is in the least disobedient. They learned from a very early age that my word is law. Disobeying me doesn't even occur to them.
    I think disobedient children are the fault of libral wackjobs raising their kids to be snotty little brats. It's those parents who should be stoned, IMHO.

    Let's say, hypothetically, I have a son who is six. I put two toaster waffles in the toaster for breakfast, and tell him he can have one of them when it pops up. But, say, the phone rings and I have to go answer it in the living room because we don't have a phone in the kitchen, and when I get back the little angel has already eaten his toaster waffle, and is now halfway through eating my toaster waffle (and it's the last one). I tell him to give it to me, but he won't, because he is stubborn and rebellious AND a glutton (eating my food). So, if he is six, and stubborn, rebellious, and a glutton, (but not a drunkard) is it ok to take him to the elders of the city and have them stone him? Would this be a situation where they would just stone him until he had permanent disabilities instead of stoning him to death?

    What have you good Christians done in similar circumstances?
    You're trying. keep it up, but a little Bible is a dangerous thing. Jesus told us we have to follow secular law. Now, when we manage to get a Biblical law USA which is our goal, then we can give you an exact answer.
    But, even then, you'd have to take him to the elders of the village. The elders decide.
