I would like to disqualify Rev Jim Osmond, he apparantly had to change my name from self_aware_sinner to self_abusing_sinner. He did it because I questioned the Purity of a True Christian™. This is starting to look like the Third Reich, where people were persecuted and at the whims of the stasi

For one thing, as the Godly HTannor has pointed out, no-one was persecuted by the Stasi under the Third Reich. Admittedly, there's a huge amount of overlap between nazis, liberals and commies, but they're not quite the same thing, so mixing your Stasi up with your Gestapo is a bit like referring to Obama as Hillary - I just about can see what you're trying to say, but it's not actually correct. For another, I really don't think that the moderation on this forum is that much like the Third Reich. To compare someone on an internet forum to the Nazis seems really inappropriate and offensive to me, and seriously cheapens the genuine suffering that Hitler caused. Did you know that more than one hundred Jews died under the Nazis?

Sorry, I am very angry. My name has been changed to one so detestful I do not like to see it posted, I mean, when I go to the main page and see 'self_abusing_sinner' it feels so wrong in my soul that I don't want to post and it just infuriates me, that someone would sink to such a low tactic to get someone to stop posting, on a Godly forum, when they may be right about what they are asserting, and what is more, for the sake of community, it is important these things be repaired so that ALL involved can move forward secure and restored in the Image of the Lord, praised be His Holiness, which we grope and grabble for, anyway that is just .. ticking me off, that it brings me to tears seeing a name so unholy that it's mere sight brings a sickening feeling to the heart.

I ask that it be changed to something else, something which I can feel will contribute to a Christian forum, or I do not wish to partake here anymore, for your sake, since the word is toxic.

I feel the Reverent is using my love against me to shut me up.

The anger inside of me is building up to divine proportions, I feel. Please, someone, correct this injustice at least to something that can be seen on a forum.

AND, thank you for the clarifications, I did NOT intend to spell your name wrong Reverent, NOR did I say stasi instead of Gestapo by anything other than mistake, and THANK YOU for telling eighteen year olds or less not to contact me, I feel it is for the parents to validate that contact, not the children, as that is simply appropriate, on a Christian forum, also to show respect, to ALL parties, with the exception of myself perhaps.

And yes, I will and must admit that I had feelings I didn't understand for Felicity, before I realized she was sixteen, because her posts seemed so good and her smile so well wonderful etc in her profile, which was where I went to answer some posts she sent me, and also because, I thought she was older based on how mature and Christian her posts seemed to me. So yeah I had feelings like that, and though I know she is sixteen, I still have some sort of feeling that I don't understand, though it has abated a lot since learning her actual age, but there is something I find attractive about her, and I don't feel it is a perverted attraction, more like it is genuine love, or SOMETHING, and that is in my all the more reason to KEEP MY DISTANCE, which is what I have expressed clearly is what I wanted to do, first on her personal page which was where I could respond since Private Messages don't work for my type of account, and later publicly, since I never seemed to get the confirmation I was looking for, from her side.

I don't know what that makes me, perhaps it simply means I am naturally attracted to very Christian girls in Spirit, regardless of age, which is probably a good thing, but I know my limits and won't tresspass them.

For those reasons, I find it is inappropriate for me to converse with her, and I have sought to end all such, other than what is necessary, in the public channels, and what can be seen by the entire community, in which are nothing but wards and caretakers.

I was on an atheist forum, debating for God and righteousness, as best I could and understood, and someone brought up Godwin's law and it was used to ridicule me, and derail the thread. I know Jo Freddie, even if he is a parrot-toting marauder of the seven seas (or at least the Great Lakes.) would never do that, I want to comment on it, WWII and Hitler is the premiere example of injustice and evil that has been taught to us in school, far above that of what happened in China (the Cultural Revolution I think) and Russia (Communism or whatnot idc for the name, really) also many of us have grandparents who experienced it, it has been the topic of more films and otherwise, Spielberg, Eastwood, etc my point is, WWII and Hitler is engraved more deeply in our Western minds, for a number of reasons like mentioned, and more I can only presume, so it is NATURAL for us to refer to it, as a first.

So I am saying, not to Jo Freddie, but in spirit to those atheists who used it to maliciously derail a thread, that the calling the Law of Godwin is a sign of lack of insight into oneself, and ones upbringing and education, in the Western world.

I did not postulate Godwin's law, but I see it coming into play in this case.

As for using WWII and the horror the was the National Socialist rule of Germany as a compassion to the actions of the Rev Jimmy is, firstly overreacting to what he has done and secondly, and much more importantly, trivialising the suffering of all those that were persecuted by the Nazis and debasing the value of the lives of the millions who died because of that regime.

Wow what do you want me to say, I will say this, when people use that kind of analogy, at least this for me, it is not to trivialize the suffering or magnitude of WWII but to take certain aspects and compare, in spirit, to what has been going on, on a much smaller scale here. That was implied in what I wrote, I think.
