I’ve changed my mind about supporting gay men in gaining any rights or status in our society. For the past couple of years I’ve noticed a disturbing trend of women being abused and oppressed and disrespected by gay men.

I’m seeing gay men attack women in the work place, attacking them verbally and leaving them in dangerous situations simply because they hate women and view them as competition for mates. This blasphemy is the absolute last thing that women need, to have gay men making their lives more difficult.

I’ve repeatedly witnessed gay men disrespect and mistreat women by making passes at husbands and boyfriends, directing hostility and open aggression towards women and turning normal outings into stressful and hurtful excursions. I can no longer support this minority because they’re harming women and in a world that is already openly hateful of females, this is catastrophic.

How to Post Like Christian Rover

1. Start a new topic.
2. Make a claim that goes against established True Christianity™.
3. When Bible verses are presented to you that show you are wrong, ignore them or say that they are no longer applicable. (Of course, the Bible verses that support your argument are completely valid and right!)
4. Get demolished further by True Christians™ who know more about the Bible than you do.
5. Don't admit your loss. Ignore and sidestep the issue altogether.
6. Go back to Rule #1.

But since you're so in love with your own postings you don't actually read anyone elses, I guess you didn't notice.

I wonder how many posters are aware how the administrators of this "godly" forum interfere with people's profiles. I awoke this morning to find mine had been altered in a number of respects:

1. A new avatar of a typical gay man clad in leather.

2. My location (incorrectly) identified as Chesterfield.

3. My username changed to (aka Danny the Queer). My name is Stevie.

The conservative Xtians have no chance to take over this country. They are about to lose the culture war over marriage equality. This summer's rallies against marriage equality fizzled miserably when they were outnumbered about 10 to 1 by supporters of marriage equality in just about every city.

America is a secular nation founded on secular principles and that is not going to change. Those who want Christian domination are a tiny minority of Christians in the U.S. The fundamentalists do not speak for a majority of Christians. Many Christian churches recognize same sex marriage, welcome gay members and have gay and lesbian clergy.

I'm afraid we aren't going to agree on this, are we? I have said before that arch-fundies like yourselves cherry-pick scripture as much as I do. The difference is I am honest about that.

Psalm 46:10 tells us to be still, and know that He is God. So when I hear that still, small voice speak to me, I know it is Him. Jesus is Emmanuel, God with us (see Matt. 1:23). That means that Jesus Christ is with me always, and that He is present within me.
