Thank you so very much, Sister BIG. I appreciate your prayers, but if God wants me to be like Paul, traveling around, rebuking false religions, inciting riots, penning long, meandering letters advising others on how to lead their personal lives, well-- I would be honored.

Still, I mustn't forget that I am a mere female, not truly fit for proclaiming the Word for hours at a time so that my listeners fall asleep and fall out windows to their deaths. (My all time favorite Bible story!) I probably wouldn't even be able to raise the fallee from the dead. [sigh]

So, I'm not worthy to be like Paul-- which is kinda obvious, silly me, since anyone who reads Paul's God directed doctrines would know that a woman cannot not be the equal of a man.

If God were to aflict me in the same manner as Paul, however, perhaps I could preach specifically to women following after false gods. You know how the Muslins are about letting people get anywhere near their females. Perhaps the Lord could use me to speak to woman oppressed by Islam. So many of them must be weary at heart about being pushed around by men and burdened by so many stupid commandments.

What Muslin woman wouldn't welcome Sweet, Gentle Jesus in her life if she were given a real chance? If only these women weren't lied to and could know His True Nature as revealed to in the Holy Bible. But they probably aren't encouraged to read. Paul, I know, would weep for that. So much of his writing was directed at securing the happiness of female believers.

Well, once more Jesus is giving me a mind-hug to comfort me over that sad thought. His are the best kind!

    Joyously Yours,

    Handmaiden

What a glowing witnessing Handmaiden and all so true. An aspect of God that is often overlooked is the added confidence that His Word gives to any pronouncement you may make. In these days of liberal political correctness, the truth is often a shock to the godless and non-believer.

There are those who would have us believe in equality between men and women in direct contravention of His Word,

Ge:2:18: And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Or that the blind and cripples are simply unfortunate and are to be treated as equals, rather than the just victims of the sins of their forefathers.

Ex:34:6: And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
Ex:34:7: Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

I could go on but I fear I would merely be copying out KJV1611

Speak openly and speak God’s Word; give your prayers to Him and you will be surprised how people come to see you as a person distinguished by their honesty and wisdom.

Remember, only the Power of His Word can overcome the deceptions perpetrated over the past 100 years by Hellywood and the atheist media.

    The Great Thing About God

The great thing about God, for me, is never being alone.

Having Jesus for my honey means that I always have a date for the weekend. He takes me by the hand and we read through the Word together and find unending satisfaction.

With an omnipresent Lord, you are accompanied everywhere you go. His thoughts become your thoughts as He guides you through life's trials and tribulations. No mindless deeds are done. No empty hollows in your heart.

His Voice is always in your ears, advising, admonishing, exhorting and warning. The inside of my head is like a cozy living room, where Jesus and I sip our morning tea and outline a plan for my day -- and my life.

And when I read the Bible with God guiding me, it is as if the people were coming alive right before me. So real and relevant are their concerns; I can always learn from them valuable lessons on how to live a life that serves a Holy God.

Abraham was willing to kill his own son because God told him to. When I think of some of the things that I have had trouble sacrificing to my faith, I am humbled.

King David's faith and courage led him into battle after battle. He killed anyone and anything that God commanded him to kill, and I have problems just speaking up and telling the flaming gays around me to repent or burn forever.

The Apostole Paul spent his life and health declaring the Word of God. He didn't have a home life at all, and no special someone to look after him and cuddle with on cold nights. He even gave thanks for his celibacy and directed his energy into writing letters to the early churches advising them on how to run their lives, and here I miss holding hands and spooning and struggle with the tiny keyboard on my netbook when I try to answer a few inquires from non-believers.

It is nice to have Jesus in my heart and God in my mind. How lonely and echo-ie it would be inside my head if mine were the only voice expressing its thoughts.

    Praisingly Yours,

    Handmaiden
