well, first let me tell you a little about myself. im 21 and was diagonsed with leukemia in 2000. thankfully, i committed myself to the Lord october of '99, almost a year before i got sick. after two weeks of chemo, i was again diagosed with yet another life threatening disaster, mucormycosis. mucor is a flesh-eatting fungus that is found just about everywhere (or at least the family of the specie that infected me). from dirt, to decaying fruit, its one of lifes decomposers. a few weeks later, the doctors had taken out my right eye and much of the surrounding tissue. i tell you this because somthing happened to me while i was sick in the ICU; while praying with my father and grandmother, a black figure aproched me while my eyes were closed and touched me on the forehead. i believe it was Jesus saving me and giving me the opportunity to witness the power of his love. i was also visited just before being taken into surgery by a group of shadowy figures that surrounded my bed. i wasnt afraid of them and i felt they were good beings. after surgery, they put the life support down too low. i woke from a chemically induced coma and began signing "cant breathe" with my hands. the people wheeled me into the waiting room where i again signed the same words to my family and they figured it out before i died from suffication. i nor the doctors have any idea how i could have woken myself up after i had had "enough to put down a horse" but i did and i was coherent. after 111 days in the hospital, i was released on Christmas eve.
the doctors became fearful about me getting chemo and allowing my immunities to be so get so low the fungus could rise again so they issued me a bone marrow transplant april of '01. my only biological brother was a 100% perfect match. that may not sound like much, but its a 1 in 4 chance in twins to have such results; my brother is 5 years older than i.
now, im pretty heathly, not at top phsyical fitness mind you, but doing as well as could be expect for someone who beat the odds of two 0% chance of survival incidents.
i tell you this so you know im a brother in Christ, i believe his word and follow as well as i can. i also tell you this because im shocked at some of the going ons at this site. first off, the little information you've tagged ur website with for search engines (if youre not saved, youre not welcome here) is by far one of the most jaw droppingest things ive ever seen on a Christian website. doesnt God want everyone to hear His word? shouldnt you be wanting the unsaved to come more than the saved so you can share the truth of His love? i havent really looked through the entire site, but from what ive seen, youre all pretty self rightous, judgemental people. i know saying this is judgemental in itself, but as a Christian man, this is pretty harsh. i wonder, do you have a sign in front of your church that tells visitors theyre not welcome? maybe you have assigned seats as well?
plus, as ive said before, youre pretty judgemental group of posters. you label certain people as "unsaved trash" who are "under investigation". for what reason is this so? are you God? does not He only have the right to judge? are you going to start "casting stones" as well? also, you label people "true Christians *TM*" as if you're the sole owner of the phrase. do i have to join a club to get you to believe im a true Christian? wow, i always thought that was up to God, not mortals...
another thing, you give homosexuals the deaming term of "homers". wow, i didnt know Chritains were starting to ridicule other these days! lets all go grab a pitchfork and a torch and chase the demons out! you also think its nessisary to "spank a gay toddler" to teach him not to be so! WHAT?! phsyical violence does NOTHING to presuade a persons beliefs! why not trying to talk to the boy instead of beating him?!
scientists have proven homosexuality is caused by an abnormality before birth. if you dont believe that science is true and valid, better throw away those asprins you take to help your headaches, those plastic glasses you wear, the metalic car you drive, and while youre at it, throw out the computer youre using right now! after thats all done, better hock that bible you hold so dearly since its printed on synthedic paper with ink thats coming from a mechanical printer! so if you dont have the holy scrolls, youd better memorize the entire Bible before you throw it away!
one last thing, the reson why i even came to this site. super mario galaxy is a gay recruiting tool? the original post doesnt even have legitimate pictures from the game! and to the mod who said "so you admit mario fans are gay" you need to admit some Jesus fans are gay as well! if you want to argue that picture of the two individuals with ripped clothing and whatnot is a gay picture, then i guess Jesus on the cross with His ripped outfit on is just as gay. you also said that it was a Japanese brainwashing tool to try to get back at the USA for pearl harbor. really? thats funny, cause activison, a USA based video game developer, has this game out called guitar hero 3. on it has satanic songs for children to play and this game is one of the best selling games out right now. so, are you more concerned that a japan based company is supposidley brainwashing us with U R MR GAY on the cover or an american based company that has blatant satanic songs on it? personally, im more concerned about the ladder. id rather have my children be exposed to a few instances of "gainess" than a bunch of songs denying our faith, wouldnt you?
maybe youre just reading things into a situation. if depicting a character with his butt to the screen is a sign that the game is a gay rectruiting tool, youd better label that on each game since most have the characters back to the screen the entire game! would you rather have your five year old be playing as the friendly mario figure or as a scantly dressed woman with ample bossoms? and if you want to read something into my situation, let me kick start it with this: if God comes as a form of light, why was He a shadowy figure? i was saved by satan! OMG! im the anti-Christ!?!@!@!@@!@!! do you see how ludicris assuming things are? if having a few instantaces or ASSUMED gainess is enough to firmly label it a gay recruiting tool, then maybe a few shadowy figures saving me can be baisly labeled as well.
again, im a Christian man who came here unexpectingly. ive seen you all act ridiculous, hypocritical, proud, and self absorbed. you turn away those who may be looking for help, label others as trash, ridicule people with demeaning names, and read things into family friendly media just because of your phobias. you tell other to beat children because theyre different and preach the word of God then go against it in the same sentence. im not the perfect Christian, but at least im not as low as this ungodly crowd. take a moment to reflect upon yourselves, im not making these things up. if you are true Christians, stop labeling people trash, dont push away those who seek the word, stop calling people names, and look for true targets of scrutany rather than those who are in the mainstream.
