The modern day black American has never worked from sunrise to sunset harvesting cotton without any proper compensation. The idea of the modern day black American receiving reparations for an indignity that they have not experience firsthand is absurd.

The modern day black American is, however, a third class citizen in this country. This applies not only to the United States, but also to the global community in which people of dark complexion are treated as sub-humans all over the world by the various governments. Despite the obvious institutionalized racism prevalent in the United States the blacks do nothing but complain, yet make no attempt to put the spotlight on the issue and shame their oppressors into change. Ultimately it is up to those 1st class citizens, white Americans, to institute a system of equality and justice because it is they who are in power. But I think it is outside the limits of human psyche to make such a move. It is in the interest of their ego to remain white and privileged; to feel superior to another and to know that they have it better. This gives the white man a sense pride and positive self-image that he will not easily give up.

Besides, the blacks have been programmed to accept their lot in life. They have been taught to accept failure and to throw blame instead of make change. They are conditioned to see their white counterparts as their superiors rather they acknowledge this or not. So let them lie in their stupor. They don't deserve anymore handouts.
