Also, you should really learn to use proper grammar. Sentences end with one punctuation mark. You put two exclamation points at the end of "MOUTH" and you neglected to put a period at the end of "you." Also, if you end a sentence with something in quotations, the period, exclamation point, question mark, ellipses, and so on go within the quotation marks. You typed "'Viewing Area'."

You know, sweetheart, pedantic grammar will not save you. The only thing that can save you is your own will to repent and accept Jesus into your heart.

What? I'm simply enforcing the rule placed by your Pastor Zeke to use correct spelling and punctuation, as stated on the "Introductions" page.

No, not at all. We just get frustrated that there are people in this world stupid enough to believe that men evolved from monkeys when I can see all sorts of wooded areas near my house and not a single time has a half-chimp/half-man subhuman ever come walking out into civilization naked from having just evolved.

Atheists are so stupid, I swear. Sometimes it just gets to us.

I was richly blessed by Doctor Hovind's video and appreciated its being posted very much.

I have his PhD thesis here as a pdf and would encourage you to check it out. I get to read various theses for a variety of reasons but nothing is so refreshing as the frank exposition of God's interaction with the world He made, as is presented by Dr Kent Hovind in his dissertation which is titled:

DISSERTATION FOR DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN

            CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

            A PROJECT SUBMITTED TO

            DR. WAYNE KNIGHT

            ···

            MAY 25, 1991

the file is called kent-hovind-doctoral-dissertation.pdf and it'is pretty easy to locate. I was going to upload a pdf for you but it exceeds the maximum file size for a PDF attachment.

Re: What is it like to be an atheist?

If you want to know what it's like to be an atheist, here you go:

There is no point in life. Life is not a product of divine intervention, it was simply a coincidence. A one-in-a-million type thing. It simply *happened* to occur here on Earth. Although I do think that life is a coincidence and has no further meaning, as I am an organism, I have an inexplicable will to survive. I am, by nature, inclined to want to stay alive. Once I die, that's it. It's an empty void. Nothing happens after I die. It's like being asleep, but with no dreaming, forever. That's it. I live my life based on what I feel is right or wrong, not what some fake diety tells me to do. I don't discriminate against people, unlike the likes of you. That is wrong in my opinion. I do feel a sense of "right." I have a conscience. I help people. I don't dislike any of you. I understand that your faith makes you happy and increases your life's value, and you enjoy believing in this, so I don't care. If it helps people out, it shouldn't matter what they believe in. I am personally happier right now than when I was a Christian, but I don't expect that from all of you. I know that you guys are content with being like this. That's fine, and I respect that. You have the right to believe whatever you want, so it doesn't bother me at all.

Since you don't care, then why take the time to say this? Why not kill yourself right now?

There is no point in living, right? So go rob a liquor store and take the money to have one last big meal, and then jump off a tall building and end this charade we call life. Isn't that what atheism says to do?

What's stopping you? I await your answer.

My thought process is that I enjoy being alive. There is no other cosmic or natural reason for that. I don't kill myself because of this, as well as my family. I cannot bear to think how sad my family would be at my death. I do not wish to bring that pain upon others. As well, being alive is better than an empty void.

If I robbed a liquor store for money, I surely would get caught. Being improsoned would have further reprocussions and my life would not be enjoyable any more, which is essentially my goal. I want to enjoy being alive for as long as possible. What Atheism says to me is live life to the fullest, and don't blindly follow anything. Be informed before you choose to make a decision. That is what Atheism says to me.

You tried hard to explain yourself. I appreciate that, but you still failed. Why do you care about your family? They are just blobs of protoplasm and are going to die anyway. Why not attack them now? A pick axe would finish them, no? It'd be hard at first, but why care? You yourself are just a blob of matter. Do your or their cries really matter?

So this time, please give me a convincing reason not to off yourself and your family.

Doesn't the religion of atheism also advocate impregnating as many women as possible to "spread the genetic code" or something? It's interesting that he doesn't share his fondness for rape, after all, without a sense of right and wrong, why be ashamed of it?

I definitely have a sense of right and wrong. I am strongly opposed to life. You get this idea from people who claim the purpose of life is to reproduce. I don't necessarily agree with this.

You are right. Yes, we are simply blobs of protoplasm, but we also have the ability to think. I don't think life has a reason or a purpose, but that doesn't mean it can't be fun. I know that my family enjoys being alive. Why would I take that away from somebody? I know you people are so hard-set on it, but I don't feel the need to induce pain or sadness upon somebody. I don't like to wrong other people because I feel that that is cruel and without merit. I don't feel the need to hurt others. My family and other people are perfectly happy living their lives, so why not let them? It's only right. Now, if somebody *asked* me to kill them and sincerely meant it, then I guess that would be a different story. However right now killing my family would destroy their happiness that they have, and I don't feel that that is okay to do.

Since you have no objective standards of morality and want to live life to the fullest, then why not really do so by enslaving mankind? Be their king and god and demand worship. Make all others serve you and your family's purposes? Why not?

Since you have no objective standards of morality and want to live life to the fullest, then why not really do so by enslaving mankind? Be their king and god and demand worship. Make all others serve you and your family's purposes? Why not?

Who said I have no standards of morality? I know that we're all just a collection of matter, but everybody is still a person, with feelings and emotions. I think that everybody deserves my respect unless they prove to me otherwise. I still care about other people's feelings.
