And my own experience echos his. When he says, "Back when I was in elementary school, we had prayer in school and we didn't need guns," he is describing exactly what my childhood was like.

My kindergarten teacher began every day by leading us in prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance, and you know what? Not one of us were packing heat, and it didn't matter, because no gunman ever came into our classroom!

Jesus makes it abundantly clear that He supports your Second Amendment right to protect your home in the following verse:

But He also makes it very clear that He expects there to be unceasing prayer in school and everywhere else:

It is abundantly clear to me that those little children in Connecticut died because they weren't praying. I don't blame them, though. I blame their parents and the school district and the teachers. The gunman may be dead, but it's the parents, teachers, school administrators, and lawmakers who need to be brought up on charges. They're the real killers.
The Godless Lieberals made prayer in school illegal because it was a so called violation of freedom of religion. Back in my day we prayed when we went to school I went to a private Christian school, and I'm not damaged like these stinky therapists say your kids will be. If you were a moose limb, catttlick or a Jew you don't have to participate. Wanna burn in hell fine, but don't drag us down with you.

Wooow! you're wonderful. So all that poor kids died because their parents didn't follow Jesus in Twitter... nothing to do with living in a sick crazy country where is easier to have a gun than buy a beer... interesting

Friend, God commands all of us to do His bidding. When forces oppose His loving ways, there can and often is blowback. You should be thanking Him for only killing 20 little kids. I think the we all got off lucky. The real question is, are you going to learn from it and fall in line with Jesus?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I agree that prayer would have solved this problem. The other solution would have been to have armed the children. No way would this senseless tragedy have happened at a concealed-carry kindergarten.

Twitter has nothing to do with it, friend. We're talking about school prayer. As to your guns vs. beer comparison, teenagers don't come home with unplanned pregnancies after they've been shooting all day. Can't say the same for teens and drinking, now can you?

Prayer is the long term solution, of course. However I'm surprized the liberal media has not jumped on their hallowed so-called "scientific" principle of cause-and-effect to try to discredit Christians and sensible conservative thinking on this issue. Let's take a look why that might be.

Immediately preceding the shooting, these were the headlines in the news:
The Obama Morning News || December 13, 2012

by Keith Koffler on December 13, 2012, 7:33 am

Boehner open to more revenues . . . Politico
Poll: Raising taxes on rich best option . . . Fox News
              Obama negotiating; Biden on sidelines
              . . . Politico
Poll points to Christie as GOP savior . . . Daily Caller
Obama keeps his Christmas schedule . . . Washington Times
Holder: Automatically register voters . . . Reuters
Jenna Bush Hager pregnant . . . Associated Press
This is what the liberal media is not telling you! Look at those headlines again: Boehner open to more revenues, raising tax on the rich, Christie as GOP savior, Holder automatically registering (Democrat) voters! It seems the only good news that day was that Jenna Bush is carrying our future President. Other than that, it's clear why the shooting tragedy happened (as well as lack of prayer in schools) from simple cause-and-effect logic. Liberals almost always pick and choose the causes to match the effects but this time they CAN'T DENY THE TRUTH. Liberal policies - specifically Obama's fiscal cliff ultimatums - have caused these childrens' deaths.
