Godly Republican Congress Protects Citizens from Themselves: Blocks D.C. Marihuana Legalization Vote

As we approach the End Times, society is collapsing all around us. Last month, voters in our nation's capital voted to legalize the deadly narcotic marihuana. But even as darkness closes in all around us, a beacon of light still flickers in the halls of our Godly Republican Congress.

The development — upending voter-approved Initiative 71 — shocked elected D.C. leaders, advocates for marijuana legalization and civil liberties groups who earlier in the day had grown confident that the measure would be at least partially protected while Democrats still controlled the Senate.

However, with Republicans set to take control of the chamber in January, the defeat suggested that the will of D.C. voters — who approved marijuana legalization last month by a margin of more than 2 to 1 — may be suspended indefinitely.
Hearkening back to the days of Father Knows Best, our stalwart and morally upright Congressmen are still able to hold down the line and keep the unruly children in line.
    II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

This is perhaps one of the only areas where the Federal government should have any say in local governance: defense in the wars against drugs, marriage and Christmas. If only Obama would do the same in the liberal breakaway states CA, WA and CO. It's a mockery to decency what is happening there.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Some things are so urgent that even the core conservative Republican values of smaller and less intrusive government, allowing the voters to decide contentious social issues, and protecting localities from an imperial Congress must bow to them. Marijuana, which Negro jazz musicians seduced white women into injecting, is one of them.

(When I mention Negro jazz musicians, that doesn't show that I have a racist bone in my body, which I don't; I just point out the facts.)

Washington, D.C. is the home of foreigners who come to subvert us, drug dealers for the politicians, prostitutes (also for the politicians), welfare Negroes, Democrats, lawyers (OK, I admit that the last two groups are pretty much the same people) and people of that ilk. It is only natural that they would want to legalize drugs. They have already legalized alcohol and just look what happened: most of them are drunk most of the time. Only the presence of a few stalwart Republican Christian soldiers has kept that godforsaken city from descending into total chaos.

Sometimes as elected officials, they are called upon to make the right decisions, not the popular ones. I'm sure if 51% of Americans somehow supported pedophiles, we'd see Democrats everywhere suggesting that schools should be given less security and lower fences.

The fact that Republicans are willing to take a stand on this issue and take the risk of being voted out by druggie liberal mobs shows how much integrity and principles they have, that they're willing to put their job on the line in order to defend the values that they hold dear.

The reason why we have a representative democracy is so the whims of the people don't immediately impact our election. Most people who voted probably just voted the way they did because of some popular TV show or movie that supports drugs, but then once that TV show is over they'll soon realize what a terrible mistake they've made.

Fortunately, rather than just having a direct democracy where the people directly vote for the laws the people vote in representatives while they are (mostly) sober, and then those representatives vote on the law even when the citizens occasionally get drunk or get sidetracked.

I'm sure if we hold this poll in another 20 years we'll get a very different result, but until then we have the Republicans to protect the people from themselves.

I hope that the legislative for legalized pot fails and gets replaced by a law that requires lazy stoners to persue honest jobs after intensive rehabilitation. I simply cannot stand stoners giggling around all day and pretend to be changing the world when they just complain and engage in occultic practices such as yoga and ouija boards.
Revelation 19:15 "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God."

Re: Godly Republican Congress Protects Citizens from Themselves: Blocks D.C. Marihuana Legalization Vote

I just found this story about who a girl was taken away from her parents and put into foster care. The little girl was then beaten to death by her foster parents. Thank God for the Godliest of legal systems in Texas that protects children from demonic pot smoking hippie parents. Sure, she might have been alive today had she still been with her biological parents, but the pot smokers were probably liberal God hating hellbound sinners. Meanwhile, the foster parents must have had a deep amount of love for this little girl:

              Proverbs 13:24
He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes

              Proverbs 29:15
The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.

              Proverbs 23:13
Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

She was probably already so corrupted by the pampering, spoiling, God hating, pot smoking parents that a simple loving beating inadvertently caused her death. Though isn't that better than having one more Democrat voter sucking away our tax dollars (you know the parents wouldn't be taking proper care of her anyway).

While I normally favor parental rights over government intervention, this is one of the rare cases where intervention was so urgent that it takes precedence over my normal minimal government ideology.

If only she was taken away from her hippie liberal pot smoking parents sooner she might have been tough enough to survive the beating. It is much better for a child to be beaten to death in a Christian household and go to Heaven than to have their life prolonged by welfare and food stamps only to end up in Hell. This is just further evidence that we need to strengthen legislation against marijuana.
