The democrats are far more extreme. All of these charts fail to show that the republicans have moved to the center, can you imagine a 1990's Newt Gingrich talking to a stoner like Joe Rogan, being told that psychedelic therapy is great, and being interested? J.D. Vance did that.

Or how about that moment where Trump embraced the rainbow flag, ending that particular culture war, so the left had to invent a new flag and invent a new culture war?

In the 1990s the republican plan was to shrink the government and drown it in a bathtub. Elon Musk is reforming government mostly because he wants it to actually work.

Obama said marriage was between a man and a woman, yet today's GOP has no plan to roll gay marriage back.

Trump called the Cheney's a bunch of warmongering chickenhawks, and the democrats came to their defense.

Managers, in my experience, are workers. When I something doesn't work and they page the manager, who usually just parrots what's already been said a dozen times, there never seems much difference to me. A badge MANAGER perhaps. Even in corporations, where managers can earn 6 or 7 figures, they are strategic midgets. What we're really talking about is owners. And IIRC the democrats definitely represented owners, no need to cite the 1700s there.

I must admit being impressed with the Cheney endorsement, and didn't like how much Trump promised poor people. Now he's won though, it's time to renegotiate that deal. Poor people can get to the back of the line (where they know they belong) and we can get on with the heroic action of channeling Wotan and whatnot. Nobody said God uses perfect tools. Action!

Honestly, Brother Jeb, I think you are not reading the politics of Trump accurately. How many times has he surprised us all with a brilliant political move? He did it again today. Today he announced he will appoint Robert Kennedy Jr. to Health. Some Republicans like Mike Pence are screaming because Kennedy has been for abortion rights. What Trump will do is allow Kennedy to expand abortions. Then, when the clinics are full of sinful young women, Trump will change his mind and have them all arrested. Goodbye abortion.

I'm impressed by the size of the Democrat fundraising figures but all this does is show that the Democrats can't handle the economy: they tax high and spend on projects that are bound to fail.

Trump on the other hand has been conservative with his fund raising and has won - Republicans tax lightly; spend wisely and achieve their goals.

For long enough, GOP was miscast as "The Party of the Wealthy". Now this might be true but the appearance must be given that we care about the blue-collars - this is where we had lacked support. Remember Mitt Romney and his idea of not wasting time on working voters? - that didn't pan out well.

But now... Now things are different! The USS GOP is still on course, still has the same mission but now, thanks the The Donald, it is powered by blue collars. Donald speaks to them while those of influence in financial matters keep the vessel on course.

It's all in "The Art of the Deal" - you speak to your target in their own language, you voice their fear and you solve them.... and you leave the details to others.

You do Rogan and Kennedy a disservice: Employing them is like employing cripples: they are eternally grateful and give you loyalty, and if they don't, well they know what will happen.

Musk's a horse of a different color, but the great thing is that if you like his ideas you take them, if you don't, you ignore them. You reward him by implementing one or two of his schemes (probably aimed at automobile manufacturers and space rockets (There's not many tax dollars in those anyways.) if he kicks off you send in the IRS.
