The Dilemma Caused by Too Many Elderly

We Republicans are problem solvers, that's why we're so popular with voters. We have a difficult dilemma just now we need to resolve. I'm sure our national Republican leaders will do it. In the meantime, we out here in the hustings can suggest solutions.

The dilemma is this. We have too many illegal immigrants. They are being rounded up and shipped out like cattle. What a success story this has been.

We also have a growing demographic of elderly. People are living longer so we have lots of them to take care of. The dilemma kicks in when we see huge numbers of the frail old people cared for by immigrants. As the eradication of immigrants ships out the caregivers there is no one to do that kind if work.

One thing our country cannot do is allow the immigrants to stay in this country. They are of other races and religions. Nothing good will come of that. What is the solution? Certainly, we can pray. I don't have any other solution, but I know there are answers out there.

Supplements, Brother Mayor! Brain Force PLUS+, Alpha Male XXX and Rigid STEEL 10+++. These are just 3 of the tools in my daily arsenal and what will make Americans great again. Once we all live to 150 the problem of old age will melt away.

Old people really need to up their game to keep from dragging down the economy. There is a need for long haul truckers, landscape construction and fruit picking that they could do and contribute. They need the supplements to stay fit.

I wish you Catholics could become Americans, Father Rovagnati. The Northern European countries provide us with no fruit pickers and landscaping grunts. We need to find a solution that keeps America white and Protestant. Old people working harder and longer is a good solution.

I find that workplaces that are white, Protestant, and non-diverse are the most cohesive, capable, and effective environments there are. There is good work ethic too. When you bring in outsiders, that is when you get drama, fighting, and other incidents.

I used to work in a white office. Sure it was dominated by hens that got sassy, but we got work done!

Office work is somewhat removed from the coal face. And not so long ago—when for example the spinning jenny followed flying shuttles from darkest antiquity into the modern era—witnessing for Christ meant arduous hours of footwork, days, months, years, even centuries. But a steam powered spinning jenny

or self-contained nuclear heart pacemaker kitchen range

now you're talking. Yet if, those few years ago, the textile industry had imported a myriad illiterates to shore up their failing paradigm, where would we all be now?

              Extinct.

Mechanical solutions worked then (they also worked for Archimedes and Hero of Alexandria) as well as today. And not better then, although much better than what went before, better now. The interim of a surplus population was not solved once-upon-a-time by importing even less skilled creatures from the farthest realms. It was solved by more machines.

              Better machines.

              Not worse humans.

              Better machines.

When I landscape my garden, I do not employ ninety hungry mouths. I employ one skilled operator with the best machine for the job. The olds will soon die off

Matthew 8:22 23 24a Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead. And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. And, behold, there arose a great tempest

no biggie, according to Jesus, and before you know it there'll be enough for everyone. Yes, we know about extended families and village systems. Not even a villager wants to live there. Jesus did not say to faff around caring for nonviable cohorts. If they were maimed, He healed them; if they were wracked with devils, He cleansed them. But for the olds, He was explicit in word as in deed, articulating clearly because God is always consistent, and not for the selected few:

Luke 14:25 26 28 29 31 33 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple . . . Which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him . . . What king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? . . . So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Mr. Mayor you pose an interesting question, but the answer is simple. If we're shipping the caregivers out in bulk, then we need to ship the elderly out in bulk with them. After all, the old folks are happy to sit on their behinds and collect their government checks and government health care, but they don't contribute anything to America but flatulence.

We could easily pay the cost of expanding ICE to get those freeloading geezers out of the country through the savings of not having to pay social security. We'd almost certainly have enough money left over to cut taxes for the wealthy, too.

Of course, there are good elderly people who follow the laws, believe in God, don't trample on the rights of white Christians, and don't vote for the Communist Democrat party. I'm not suggesting that we expel rural elderly. But the seniors in the inner cities? It's time we start putting America first and get rid of those codgers.

A dynamic economy—in contrast to Stalinesque ideas of static treasure piles hoarded by the few, thus depriving the many himself—requires circulating assets. For example if during my working life I took my wages in bars of strategic metals, iridium, lead, gold, zirconium, bismuth, you get the idea, great! I could grow my own turnips, walk everywhere, admire the growing pile in my basement and so on. But those assets are unavailable for manufacturing brooches, hat pins, jet engines, telephones, in other words there's no value added beyond turning ore into, say, copper.

In my mind I'd be saving for my retirement but in reality I'd be hamstringing the economy. Of course I do not support "death duties" since whatever one has has already been taxed adequately (or excessively) but surely there'd be a solution to selfish hoarding while an individual is still alive?

Philippians 1:22, 23a; 2:2-3 If I live in the flesh, this* is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two . . . fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory† but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

This is helpful, Brother Dnow. Repurposing ICE now that the illegals have all been rounded up would help with the elderly demographic overload. Since ICE is now a permanent agency this would be a productive project. Of course, the question would be where to ship them? Looking at my globe I see a lot of space in Saudia Arabia. It has oil money to provide whatever they need.

There is another win-win solution. It is eliminating Medicare. Less medicine, fewer elderly.

I never liked the idea of social security. It encourages old people to sit on porches and complain about the price of gasoline. It MAKES ME SICK. It's time the President gave them something to really complain about - gas is a gift from Jesus, be thankful and shut the hell up. Or else.

In much of East Asia, however, shaped by Confucian ideals of filial duty, and in Latino families bound by familismo, tending to the old and the dying is a calling claimed with pride. This will be a whole-lifespan problem, as the same workforce holds up both ends of American caregiving, elder care and childcare.

This is a Christian forum and I don't feel qualified to offer political views (The Pastors can advise on relevant details) but am nevertheless alarmed. East Asia produced Confucius around the same time South Asia generated the so-called Buddha and, for comparison, the Greek world spawned Thales and Pythagoras. In reverse order then, the ancient Greek "philosophers" busied themselves not only with triangles but seemingly limitless anti-Biblical propositions. Never mind that God had already explained much of the subject matter (other than triangles) or that being quite near, they'd have known about ancient Near Eastern people and, if interested, some of their ideas – which, being philosophers, they would be.

Are these the people we want providing "childcare" or—perhaps even more disastrous—seducing our elders into heresy if not outright idolatry? Because all of them (except maybe hardcore Pythagoreans) obsess over such objects, touching "crucifixes" masquerading as Jesus, or Marys or Confuciuses you name it among this lot I doubt there's a creature they'll not make idols of. And if certain types of Buddhist don't use statuary, even so by their "example" they encourage geriatrics to abandon Christ and follow savage ideals which, when implemented "back home," produced a society they couldn't get out of quick enough. And these know how to bring up a Christian child?

                          I'd read enough.

Powerful post, Sister Mitza. All these mistakes about idols are leading us to the Social Security crisis. Can't the Buddhists read? Right there in the Bible it says Moses was very angry at the golden calf. The Buddhists just ignore that and worship statues of Buddha. The Hindus worship cows. Then the Catholics. They prop up statues of Mary, just what Moses did not want.

We see this in idolization of the elderly. That's what's behind Medicare and too many old people dragging down our Social Security. Pictures of Grandpa and Grandma on the fireplace mantel is not what Moses wanted to see. Medicare, making the elderly healthy and comfortable, is worship of the elderly. It's the golden calf.
