Well, not really 100 years. Just until the oil runs out.

After that, nobody really cares about a bunch of sand dunes.

You've made 37 posts, MommieDearest. You haven't mentioned the deaths of innocent God-hating Islamofascist Iraqi civilians a thousand times in 37 posts.

There have been an estimated 93,024 deaths due to the war in Iraq, and what for? The world has come to terms with the fact that the US is now one of the most corrupt societies in the world. It's so wrong.
Hundreds of thousands of people died under Saddam Hussein, so I guess that's alright with you.

By the way, did you ever notice that Barak Obama's middle name is Hussein?

    The Tribulation Era
Already the world community is demanding that peace be made between Israel and its Middle Eastern neighbors...

Daniel the prophet foretold a peace that will destroy many people, both Israel’s and its enemies’ people (Dan. 8:25). The Antichrist will, according to Daniel 9: 26-27, be the leader who guarantees that seven-year covenant of peace. When thisman of sin,” as Antichrist is also called, brings together Israel and her foes for that peace treaty, the tribulation era will begin.

The tribulation is prophesied by prophets such as Daniel, Jeremiah, and Jesus to be a time of God’s judgment upon rebellious earth-dwellers. This judgment will last seven years and will conclude with Christ’s return, when the last battle of the Armageddon war is taking place in the Middle East.

    Peace Agreement Brings on Armageddon

It will be Israel’s agreement with the Antichrist to sign that peace covenant that will begin the tribulation, or apocalypse. This also sets in motion a progressive series of conflicts that grows into the war called Armageddon.

So, war with Iraq didn’t start Armageddon. But war, reignited by the nuclear threat posed by Iran or some other hostility in that volatile region, could, if destructive enough to major populations, be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel’s back. Such conflict could hasten the world community into forcing Israel and her enemies to finally agree to the so-called peace which has proved so elusive throughout the great diplomatic efforts since Israel’s rebirth in 1948. In that sense, the ejection from power of the "Butcher of Baghdad"--Saddam Hussein—and the American-led rearrangement for Iraq might fit significantly into the prophetic picture.

Reading Zechariah Chapter 5 leads the believer in Bible prophecy to observe that wickedness/evil is scheduled to return to the place called “Shinar.” That’s present-day Iraq!

With the ancient biblical prophecies involving the city of Babylon for the wrap-up of human history, it is incumbent upon every student of Bible prophecy to examine news coming out of that land where God said the first human beings were created.

The sooner troops are out of Iraq the better, but even if troops do leave USA has plans to leave 400 military bases there anyway. Disgusting. This blood for oil campaign has gone on long enough.

Also patriotism has been taken too far on here, you can never take it to the level where you love your own country so much you hate every other. Which you really have.

You have to stop being so materialistic. Drive a little less. Cancel that vacation to disneyland. We're all suffering, in our own ways. No pain, no gain. Now is not the time for debate, we can debate all we want when the crisis is over. You've got to move on, quit dwelling on the past. Think of God's chosen elect, and how happy the are. You should be happy, to know your work is making people happy.

Now that McCain has decided that he supports torture, he´s got my vote. And I do think it´s encouraging that he used to bomb gooks in ´Nam, and I bet he looked pretty macho in a flight suit (just like our Godly President Bush).

But he can´t afford to slacken off. Presidential campaigns are rushless, so if McCain wants to get elected, he has to show the public that he can do other manly things. I mean, it´s great that McCain wants to start WW III, but the public is still uncertain about him, and image counts for a lot. Fortunately, the Republicans have God and Karl Rove on their side.

So what kinds of things should McCain do? Well, it´s important that our next president can bowl (unlike that clumsy negra, Obama - did you see him throw that ball in the gutter? Even Hitlery can bowl better than that, hah!). But bowling is only the beginning. McCain has to show that he has cajones and that he´s a man of the people. For example, he should war blue jeans and clear brush, like President Bush does on his Texas ranch whenever the reporters are around. He can talk about football, attend monster truck rallies, and crush beer cans against his head. And light farts with a cigarette lighter, just like President Bush. Those are the sorts of things that Americans want in a presidential candidate.

I have faith in the wisdom of the electorate. And Diebold, just in case.

    Re: CHRISTIAN VOTERS GUIDE 2008!

    THIS just in from Kentucky:

Republicans talk about Iraq, Obama at N. Ky. dinner

Republican U.S. Sens. Mitch McConnell and Jim Bunning laid out their case for Republicans keeping control of the White House in the 2008 election during Northern Kentucky's 4th Congressional District Lincoln Day Dinner Saturday night.

McConnell, who is also up for re-election in November, defended the Bush administration's decision "to go on offense" by invading Iraq. And he said presumptive GOP presidential nominee, U.S. Sen. John McCain of Arizona, has the right perspective on what must be done in the Middle East, as opposed to the two Democratic candidates who favor removing U.S. troops as soon as possible.

"We'd be kidding ourselves," McConnell said. "This is a different kind of war. The enemy is not a country, it's a movement ... There's nobody to negotiate with."

Bunning used an even harsher description.

"The people we're fighting against now are worse than Adolf Hitler and Nazis. And we don't know where they live, half of them," Bunning said.

The Republicans specifically skewered Democratic presidential candidate and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, perhaps as a signal that they expect -- or hope -- that he is that party's nominee against McCain.

"I fear the two Democrats, one in particular, is incredibly naive," McConnell said, adding that five years ago when the U.S. Senate voted to go to war in Iraq, Obama was in the Illinois state senate. "This is the big leagues now. At what point do you turn off the demagoguery and become a serious, responsible leader?"

U.S. Rep. Geoff Davis, a Hebron Republican, compared Obama and his message for change similar to a "snake oil salesman."

He said in his remarks at the GOP dinner that he also recently participated in a "highly classified, national security simulation" with Obama.

"I'm going to tell you something: That boy's finger does not need to be on the button," Davis said. "He could not make a decision in that simulation that related to a nuclear threat to this country."

As for Obama's Democratic rival, McConnell said U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York seems to be "teetering on the brink."

"I hear she hasn't been this worried since a new Hooters opened" near her home with former President Bill Clinton, McConnell said, prompting laughs from the 400 Northern Kentucky Republicans.
    Praise Jesus!!
