"Evil" here includes preventing those who would seek Him from coming to Jesus, thus impeding His healing ministry even though He really does want to heal them. Many false teaching comes replete with incorrect forms of words, such as used when praying, that prevent Jesus from acting. Even the schismatic so-called Baptists are afflicted in this way. Their prayers are not answered, unless by happenstance e.g. half the congregation pray for rain, half for not, then whatever happens one half will have been "answered." Ultimately, that assemblage will dwindle away to nothing, just as we see in Romish catholicism today. But there is a better way.

DIOTREPHES and DEMETRIUS

These two exemplify the situation. One is condemned, the other commended. And can't we just see Diotrephes? Swanning around in splendiferous robes, a really dumb hat copied from surrounding pagan themes, his own special pavilion where lesser folk were verboten, and on, and on – we've seen it all before, it makes us sick, yet Demetrius was congratulated even in its midst. God is clear about giving oneself airs (fortunately, you do not do this) and choosing among whom one may live and move and have one's being. In a ridiculous hat (obviously, this is one of the first signs! they really can't help themselves) with or without an overstuffed satin cushion but invariably floomphing about in idiotic robes no self-respecting hippie would contemplate even for a week long fancy dress debauch. Perhaps your malady derives from attending such an event? It could easily happen by accident and that would not be your fault, nevertheless persistent hallucinations may occur. That could be a form of demon possession. I'm not sure about Bell's palsy, though; could it be hydatids?

In any event, the remedy does not involve Italian, Latin, French or Esperanto. At home, perhaps they have a Baptist Church and worship in their own language – but we are here and you need a Baptist Pastor, or one of The Elders, to effect healing and/or exorcism as appropriate. They are identifiable by their modesty, absence of fancy dress and in particular, utterly devoid of insane millinery.
