Re: There's nothing worse than being an Australian!

I think they're not referring to Jesus actually litterally visiting America (physically), but to his spirit being united in the larger number of believers in the US of A.

'cause he certainly didn't literally visit America. He was born in Israel, and at the time they still thought the earth was flat and they certainly didn't know that America even existed, because America was discovered by Columbus in 1492 (if you don't count the vikings that visited earlier but weren't believed upon returning to their home country)

OK...I'm kind of sick of being told that warning people away from porn or AGREEING with them is 'debating', so I've given up to an extent, HOWEVER as Australia is my birth country, I am here merely to state fact, not to debate or criticize. I am sorry if it comes across that way, I truly don't mean it and I hope you'll forgive me if it does. Continuing:

The youtube clip - and I'm not even sure how that made its way to youtube - is an ad. It just uses Aussie humour - which is pretty much mocking ourselves - to get a point across. It's funny to mock ourselves because in ye olde days everyone else did ...anyway, a barbie is a BBQ. The seven points on each star represent the seven states/territories and the Southern Cross is pretty much the most recognizable constellation in the sky. It even has two guiding stars pointing to it and sailors used it to navigate a course through the seas. Also, it is normally on its side (from where I live, at least).
As for the weather, it's not actually that hot over here, and when it is, the rain pours down straight afterwards. No kangaroos run around our backyards, the trees are green, and everything is far from desolate. That's all I have to say. Think how you think and feel as you feel but I love my country for all it is, good and bad

Because New Zealanders are considered unsightly irritants by Australians; and Australians are considered boorish yobos by Godly Americans. That is the natural order of things.

I see your point that Australia's weather could be seen as similar to 'Hell'. It was very hot when I visited and I must say that the faith was certainly lacking - taking it from one who lives there I'm sure you would have a better opinion. First off, stars are predominant in occult symbolism. Look at a Wiccan and Satanic pentagram for example. Other sky objects, such as the sun (sun-worshipping Japs) or the moon (terrorist countries) are featured on the flags of Godless nations.

Now some may say that means the U.S. Flag is Satanic too because of the fifty stars. But these aren't celestial stars, these are the shapes known as "stars". A star shape is five-pointed, but these Godless Australians put some kind of devil-inspired seven-pointed star all over the flag.

Notice there are SIX stars...a reference to 666.

The constellation is the "southern cross", which is a twisted version of the Christian Cross, just like the upside down crosses that Satanists use.

Finally, the reason why they call their land "down under" is because Hell is "down under" as well.
Woah woah woah. Hold on. OK. Now we know Australians can be damn lazy sometimes. And they might not have the most Christian or even religious population on the planet. But that doesn't mean we Americans can say that they are the worst people on the planet!

But first things first. Australia. Population: 21 000 000. Location: South East Asia. Climate: Temperate-hot. Diverse population; multicultural.

Now Australia was first formed as a penal colony and was then further colonized under British rule. The majority of people in Australia can thus be termed as most likely Caucasian/Anglosaxon.
Now I hope you have got a picture of what the Down Under is actually like. Australians are mostly nice and very uplifting to be around. They are not freaks (Noah Dint that is from... the 1800s, yes? They were mostly convicts then. Convicts were considered freaks. Things have changed - stop thinking time'll roll back 200 years.).

Now. As Lars has already pointed out (and subsequently been snuffed as a 'cross breed') in NO way is the Australian, or any other developed nations, flag a tribute to Satan. This is similar to drawing a comparison between Christianity and Scientology - Osborne, you are drawing a VERY long bow indeed. The Southern Cross is a constellation. A star constellation. It is only seen in the south. Thus it seems suitable to have their flag represent their position in the world. In the South.

You say also that, "these Godless Australians put some kind of devil-inspired seven-pointed star all over the flag." Seven, if you were not aware, is God's holy number. How this could be taken as devil inspired and not divine inspiration? If anything it represents a Christian belief.

And look up your history (Wikipedia does the trick) - Down Under is referring to the fact that Australia is completely in the Southern Hemisphere and as far as I am aware has no relation to Hell whatsoever.

Now I'm not flaming you. I am simply raising a differing view then yours. I find it necessary to say this to discuss anything here.

More ranting and raving from yet another unfortunate offspring from the cross-breeding between aborigines and kangaroos.

The six stars stand for the six provinces of Australia. Australia is called: "The Land Down Under" because it is just under the equator. The moon is beautiful, she gives us light and at night and her tides clean the oceans. Also the moon stabilizes the earth thus preventing the earth from wobbling out of control. That would cause our climate to kill us all. Even the bible says that God:"Created a greater light to rules the day(the sun) and a lesser light to rules the night(the moon).
