Look at it this way: I am going from e-door to e-door trying to find out why I should be converted, and why so many people believe in the other gods. I am simply looking for answers. Who else goes door to door? Christians and other religious people. I am just following your friends' example. Oh yeah, and henry, I am not mad because you believe I am going to Hell. I am looking for legitimate proof that there is a Hell to go to. I don't believe there is at the moment. Maybe you should do what loving Christians should and try to save me? Look at it this way: I am going from e-door to e-door trying to find out why I should be converted, and why so many people believe in the other gods. I am simply looking for answers. Well, science directly disclaims the Bible for one thing. For instance, scientists know that man and dinosaur lived thousands of years apart, but the Bible says that Noah rode them onto his ark. Why do you not believe other religions are correct?

It is more of a process of elimination thing.Atheists believe in no religion being correct. They have disproved many religious theories on how we came to be. We are always trying to discover more. I had thought that it was a legitimate answer, but it is ironic that you would accuse ME of dodging questions, when my original ones remain untouched. All you guys have been doing is dodging them and attacking me on minor points, trying to antagonize me.

So what if you've disproved many religions. So did God, thousands of years before you did. Why are you trying to steal God's credit? Are you the typical atheistical scientist who plagiarizes everything so he can up his impact factor? Stop plagiarizing the Bible and start believing it. No scientist has disproven the Bible, because it is fact. It has stood unchanged and unbroken for far longer than any scientific theory. Just learn to accept that.

Atheism is all about not believing in any gods, just like Christianity is about believing in the Christian god. Atheists have put forward many scientific facts that clash with religious analogies. Atheism is about not believing in a religion, because science, logic and reason say that the religion in question is not plausible. Meanwhile, I asked the questions first and I am still waiting for an answer.
Secondly, in regards to A Follower, What do you mean by 'God has disproved many religions? How? By saying that they do not exist? Is that the only reason you do not believe in other gods?

What about Noah's ark? There are TRILLIONS of animals, and many more would not have been extinct back then. How would they have been fed? Why did some not die on the journey? How would they repopulate the world? One of each sex is a terrible idea. What if one became sick? What world would have been left to repopulate? The plants would have all died. The animals would all have starved! The herbivores because there would have been no more plants, and the carnivores because there would have been no more herbivores. Finally, what about the fish? How could all the species of fish have survived?

Denying the existence of God is not unbelief but an exercise in self-deception. You may know things, but you cannot account for anything you know. Arguing against God's existence would be on par with arguing against the existence of air, breathing it all the while. You use the universal, immaterial, unchanging laws of logic, mathematics, science, and absolute morality in order to come to rational decisions, but you cannot account for them. These laws are not the only way God has revealed himself to you, but they are sufficient to show the irrationality of your thinking, and expose your guilt for denying Him.

There is a reason that you deny the existence of God and it has nothing to do with proof. I can show this to you. Do you think that you can continue to deny God because surely somewhere, sometime, a philosopher or scientist will come up with an explanation for universal, immaterial, unchanging laws apart from God? Did you ever try to come up with an alternate explanation on your own?

Hoping that an alternate explanation for universal, immaterial, unchanging laws can someday be found apart from God, is a blind leap of faith, or wishful thinking. Isn't it interesting that this is exactly what professed unbelievers accuse Christians of?
