  • Helping Women Recognize Their Rights When Abortions are Gone

    There is so much hype just now about the anti abortion bills passed in Georgia and Alabama. One of them could put abortion doctors in prison for 99 years. The other hints that women might face charges.

    I thought it would be a good time to review the rights women will still have even if abortion is no longer available. I'll list a few that come to mind and if others want to point out even more rights you are invited to do so.

    Women will still have the right to:

    --marry a man who has chosen her and have and raise his children.

    --attend and worship in her husband's church.

    --ask forgiveness for Eve's error in committing the original sin.
    Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

    Be ashamed?
    I Timothy 2:9 In like manner also that women adorn themselves in modest apparel with shamefacedness and sobriety not with broided hair or gold or pearls or costly array

      Good point, Sister Mitza. Appearing in public "shamefacedess" is something all women have to do, but how they do it may include some of their own creativity.

      In politics women's lib preaches women should vote their own interests. That, of course, is not Biblical. They must vote as their husband directs them.

      Yet, in many cases, women can choose which dress and shoes they want to wear when they go to the polls to vote. I've seen some beautifully dressed women at the voting site in Freehold. While I'm not involved in the home life of couples here, I like to think those women had at least some freedom in their choices of matching outfits.

        A True Christian(tm) woman may have the freedom to wear what she wishes, but her love for her husband and her Savior would naturally compel her to choose colors that would be pleasing to her husband.

          Praise Jesus that Roe v. Wade is soon to be repealed! I've been praying for this for years. What's next on the chopping block? Obergefell v. Hodges, we can only hope. But why stop there? Brown v. Board of Education is unbiblical (2 Corinthians 6:14). Once we've got that out of the way, hopefully we can repeal the liberal amendments: 24th, 22nd, 19th, 16th, 15th, 13th, 8th, 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th, and 1st, none of which is in line with the teachings of the Bible.

          I knew that the ascension of Donald Trump would be the best thing to ever happen to this country. The American Dream is finally coming true.
          I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
          Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
          But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
          From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!
