  • Moving from NYC

Due to a most stressful misunderstanding at church I am making a major decision: I am leaving godless NY.

This may shock you but it is a necessary thing for me to do at this time. I am still looking at the Des Moines area but I will consider Bolivia and godless France as alternatives.

Mitza, do you still rent from Miss Lamb? Could she help me with suitable housing? Basilissa, could Enrique offer assistance?

Please pray for me brethren as I uproot myself for the greater good.

    Your faithful friend
    BrotherLarry

PS: I will not be the replacement youth minister at my current church obviously. I will be available for suitable ministry offers once I am settled. This is a tremendous opportunity for Landover to grab me while I am available.
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

Oh, dear Great-Grandbaby Brother Larry: I can sense some hurting and regret in your message, and I pray that you are OK at this very difficult time. You know, you have such a tremendous ministry in your Village in New York (particularly down on your Gay Street part of town), and I know how important this is to you, and also to the young men you touch so closely. Please feel free to call me and drop over for tea and scones anytime you need to unburden yourself. And if you should be interested, I do have a room for rent in my rather modest home. I've had my Victorian home re-painted recently, and I just know that you will love the matching decor of your room! I will attach a photo a bit later on. All the best to you, dear Great-Grandbaby. Lovingly, Isabella

It is lovely. But I must decline your offer of a room. However if you choose to leave the entire house to me upon your passing I would not decline that as proof of your grandmotherly affection.

I take it that your application to move to Landover is still being processed. Those things do take time. Bolivia is nice in that it has a very heavy gas and industrial coal mining operation. Last I heard they’re trying to clear more forest to make room for oil drillling in order to help the Godly USA with its energy.

I really cannot recommend France. Full of heathens. They didn't invent head chopping but did apply machine age technology at an early stage.
I Peter 2:13-15a Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God

Whose heads did they chop off? Quite a few as it happens but right up there at the top of the list was the King and them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. Directly and deliberately in contravention of God's word! The traffic is appalling and although there are some interesting vineyards in the Pyrenees you're getting pretty close to the Spaniards. Idols everywhere.

My spare room is occupied at present. Have you considered the Low Countries? Flanders, Brabant, Wallonia, Friesland, all very tidy but maybe not the port cities.

I have eliminated France from my prospects and have decided to lean on the LORD for guidance. I expect a miracle. God will not fail if His Promises are true and of course They are.

Lord I lift Your Name on high trusting You to be my Roadmap. Speak to Your servant and let mine ears hear Thy Guidance. I listen for Your still small voice as I remain on my knees until the answer comes.

Well, I wouldn't say that they do that to help the USA - Bolivian president Evo Morales is a closer friend of Cuba and Iran than he is of the USA. Nonetheless, they do mine, cut forest, and plant plenty of coca. The advantage of living in Bolivia is that gasoline is really cheap. On the downside, traffic can be a bit heavy sometimes ("sometimes" meaning between 6 am and 9 pm every single day):

When you get here, Brother Larry, make sure to check out the lovely scenic route which is featured in the second part of this video.

I will be more than happy to pay for your funeral expenses. (Funerals are cheap in Bolivia).

I read your response as saying, "I have relinquished all thoughts of marrying Enrique and I wish you to move to Bolivia so we can marry and raise Americans to revamp the economy here and build better roads and traffic patterns."

If this is NOT your intention, please let me know. You see, I am certain that my application for residency in Freehold will be approved any day now because I haven't left my knees in many hours. I haven't slept, either.

Jesus is faithful and I am sure He intends for me to have an answer according to His Will. Praise Him!

PS: I will require a pre-nuptial agreement since when my father passes away I stand to inherit several million dollars, his businesses, and his fleet of fancy cars. Oh, and a 72 Dodge Polara.

I hate to disappoint you, Brother, but I must. Nothing personal, but on a side note - Enrique has his own money. Maybe you should start thinking about making your own money, too? You could use our Godly President's business model - borrow from your dad a modest million dollars, get a few more million dollar donations from him, and then it doesn't matter how much you lose in your business dealings, you'll still be better off from people who don't have a millionaire father.

What a beautiful house, Sister White! Normally I'd suggest not allowing a bachelor live in such a pretty place, but I have a feeling Brother Larry would leave it in such good shape!

Why, thank you kindly, dear Sister Dana. It is a pretty house, isn't it? I've always had it painted in that soft pink shade and I've never tired of it. The rooms are spacious, and the place is full of antiques, not forgetting myself. Normally, I wouldn't offer to rent it out (I'm very fussy about the antiques, some of which are very fragile), but I do trust Brother Larry. But he would rather live in the mountains, if only to bring himself ever closer to our dear , and he must as our instructs. A blessed evening to you, dear Sister Dana.

                          Sister Sweet Grandmother Isabella,

I hope you don't think me ungrateful for not taking you up on your offer but it's just that so many times my ministry requires me to bring men back after meeting them so that I can be sure the Sword of the Lord penetrates thoroughly and I would so hate to wake you and have you catch us. I mean, catch us up at such an ungodly hour. But when you have arranged your will to include that house Jesus told me He would bless you beyond your wildest dreams.

I have great plans for the house (paint for example) and all of these plans are directly from the still small voice of our Loving Christ Jesus. Oh, bless the Lord, my soul.

                          Love you sweet Grannie-wannie ,

Brother Larry, as you have wisely eliminated France, rejected dear Sister Isabella's kind offer, and seem unlikely to get clearance to move to the Des Moines area in the near future, something that Sister Basilissa mentioned on another thread has given me an idea.

Given your many new startup ventures in the financial sector, have you considered basing yourself in Lagos? The one in Africa, that is. The climate can be just a tad on the moist side during the summer months, but there are ample opportunities for an entrepreneur of your talents to employ like-minded staff and also to minister to the gaywise in your spare time.

Oh, dear Great-Grandbaby Brother Larry: Oh, that's alright, Heaven's above. Don't let it worry you, my Dear. I'm not bothered that you are not interested in living in my 16-room Victorian beauty on two acres of land. Why, I think it's very noble that you would rather follow the good Lord as He leads you on your faithful ministering to the many young men that you come upon. And I so greatly appreciate you not wishing to wake me from my rest when you bring men back to fall prostate before God Almighty. At 84, I do need my rest, and sometimes even the sound of the cats walking on the carpets can wake me. And, I can't much imagine a strapping young man like you having any interest in me playing my organ in the parlor.

Now, then, what is this about painting the house IF you should receive it in my will? I'd really prefer it be kept that sweet shade of "Perpetually Pink Peau-de-soie", though. And, I should also mention that I've had another interested young Christian woman contact me about renting a room with me, so time is of the essence. And this lovely young lady of interest is none other than our very own beloved Sister Maxine!

A blessed day to you, Dear Great-Grandbaby Larry.
