  • Perhaps Moving from NYC After All

Due to Sister Mitza's suggestion and her desire to distribute Bibles to the chinks and other Japanese/Korean people in the land of China, I have been considering a move to that land - specifically Hong Kong or perhaps Langzhou. Not sure yet. The Kowloon International Baptist Church of Hong Kong has offered me a temporary place to live in the basement of one of its members, Jing Mei-Fat, a 92 year old former horse farmer who still owns several fine stallions and will accept my dental services in lieu of rent for a while. Of course I would want to get my own digs soon.

Of course this plan could change but I have looked into the licensure requirements for gnathology in Chinkland and feel confident I could pass the test which is written in Cantonese. I would assume that means it's some sort of Ohio dialect. Yes, success is finally headed in my direction it appears. Bless you, Sister Mitza, for your obviously inspired idea.
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

    You're welcome.

I can't claim the idea as my own, though. Job is always reassuring and although he may have known uncertainty in some respects he was always sure about God. Reading chapter 41 earlier on, I noticed God describing leviathan and am aware that some people think this is a crocodile but was reminded of your speciality and of the Chinese dragon. We don't know what that is either—they never look much like crocodiles—but they do have teeth.

Job 41 excerpt from vv 1-14
1a Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook?
2b Or bore his jaw through with a thorn?
12 I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.
13 Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle?
14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.

The Lord directed me to this passage and it reminded me of you so the credit belongs to Him.

      Sister,
I do give God the glory for this but I also pray for a special blessing since you were his vessel, allowing Jesus to speak unto your humble heart and then pass along this wonderful idea to me. Things are almost in readiness. I am just waiting on a small matter about my passport. If you know any South Americans with pull, let me know.
      Yours in Him,
      BrotherLarry
