Re: Should I get a Tattoo?

It says not to make any cuttings or marks for the dead, but Jesus only died temporarily, not forever. So, IF I decided to get a tattoo that says "Jesus is my personal savior" or perhaps a tattoo of my favorite verse in the Bible, would that be okay or would I still be going to Hell even though all I ever wanted was to show heathens my love for God and Jesus without saying a single word.

Wow. I don't know wether to laugh or vomit.

No, it's not me. I shave my legs and armpits (along with one other area that I'm too much of a lady to discuss). I was asking wether or not it's a sin for a lady to shave these areas? Do you want me to have hairy pits and legs? I'm pretty sure the men wouldn't want that (my ex husband sometimes got pissy if I didn't shave my pits daily; what, is he actually going to check under my arms to make sure there isn't a stubble there? Well, he tried).

Uuuhh lets look at Zeke's post again...

Leviticus 19:28 says "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord."

Yep, I'm pretty sure that means 'dude, don't let dead folks tattoo you!!!'. That means 'zombies', right???

But Im confused?? What if Jesus came back, an wanted to tattoo me? He's a zombie, right?? So can I let some zombies tattoo me, but not others??? What's the rules wi that????

Of course its a sin! since you're not born with air in your lungs GOD doesnt intent people to even breathe! so breathing is a sin too... alot of people need to stop breathing, say put their heads in a bucket filled with water to stop the sin that is BREATHING!

    Generally, I don't.

However, when nuts like yourself try to turn their personal interpretation of the Bible into law, it impacts me.

Here in Oklahoma, getting a tattoo was illegal up until just a few years ago. And cockfighting was perfectly legal up until about the same time. Socially, this state is about fifty years behind the rest of the world and I can't help but think that it's because so many people in this state think just like LBC members.

Maybe you should move from Iowa to Oklahoma.

That doesn't say anything about tattoos or body piercings.
