Ok,listen up.If you want to say the derogatory word in a heinous or non-heinous manner,it's your prerogative.But you should remember that there might be repercussions ,if you say it to colored people in real life.Blacks dislike the word like Whites dislike the word cracker or honkey,japanese hate the word gook,etc.It's childish ,and you are just saying it because you are racist and 'rebellious'.If you think it's a fun word to use,then say it but I would protest .If you were to call me a Negro,I would correct you .As simple as that. I don't use the word because I "think it's a fun word to use". I use it because I'm old enough to remember when "negro" was the word everyone used, and no one had a problem with it. I remember seeing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. give speeches, and no one cared that he used the word "negro". He's a hero in the civil rights movement, and he didn't have any problems with the word negro.

I've always used the word "negro". Why do I have to change because a new generation of people who had nothing to do with the historical civil rights movement suddenly decided that the word is offensive?

The question I asked you, and that you couldn't answer, is why do the acceptable and unacceptable words keep changing? Who is in charge of that, and why do you listen to them instead of thinking for yourself?

Besides, I always thought it was funny when George Jefferson called Archie Bunker a honky. I've never found that word to be offensive.
