This thread may be the most disgusting example of Christianity. I used to be a christian. I played in the worship band, attended church every Sunday for 18 years until I realized how judgmental religious people are. I find myself to be much more accepting and loving than 99% of the religious people I have met. My main problem with religion is the sense of superiority it affords people. I can assure you that you are no better than me, and I am no better than you. I will just say that I am a much more accepting person than the majority of you. I have had friends who are gay, lesbian, jewish, muslim, satanists, witches, atheists, agnostics, catholics, baptists, lutherans etc. And you know what, I love them all. They have their belief system, and I have mine. It's a nice system we have.

And to speak to the topic of being scared of people in hoods. I live in an urban area where there are plenty of gangs, druggies, etc. And to be fair, a hood is not what worries me when I'm walking by someone, the fact that they have a crazy look in their eyes, or they are staring at me looking as though they are ready to attack me, or if they are shaking and scratching themselves then I just walk a little faster by them. There's no reason to ban a clothing item simply because criminals have worn it. I may point out that criminals also wear pants, shirts, glasses, hats, etc. And you are not talking about the sin that accompanies wearing sunglasses, or pants. There just seems to be a lot of inconsistencies in this thread. As you claim, this forum is here to bring people to christ, and telling them that they are worthless sinning trash, is no way to accomplish this. If you intend to brainwash anyone into believing what you do, then you should do it with love.

To be honest, if I believed in heaven, and believed people like you occupied it. I would prefer to burn in hell. And I'm sure you will reassure me that that is where I am going to burn. Let the insults be thrown back at me. I accept them happily.

PS: Based on the FEW remaining things that are good and holy in this world, open your eyes and spread love instead of hate. The last thing we need is a group of people trying to disparage an entire world who does not share the same beliefs.

I came across this while just browsing google, and felt compelled to create an account and tell you one thing. You are a complete jackass, to even think that a piece of clothing is "evil" is insane. Also why single out punks, goths, and other counterculture groups. Hooded Sweatshirts are mainstream and worn by almost everyone. Also there is nothing wrong with punks and goths. Every person dresses in what they feel is the most aesthetically pleasing to their eye.
