    Godly doctoring

Friends, I was ill last week. I lay on the couch suffering terribly because I had a fever. Yes, the pain was horrid, but I prayed to God and he set me right! I heard it from my TV that i had turned off because there was nothing but Homer sports on. Figure skating and tennis from Homerstralia.
Figure skating makes me want to puke and that's probably why God smote me with a fever for glancing at it for more than a split second.
Anyway, a voice says, "Leviticus 14"
for you sinners who haven't memorized the Bible, here's a link for you learn something:

I was ashamed that I had forgotten that God has given us everything we need to know in his word.

Then I felt a need for Deutronomy and was quickly warned:
    chap 28
22": The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish

Yes, God's gifts are sweet. I was once again reminded of his power.

    Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Praise Jesus! Sometimes we all need a little smack on the backside to remind us to stay on the straight & narrow! Your little anecdote has inspired me, and I am proud to say that Jesus is watching us, every minute of every day! Keep your thoughts pure, because you don't want Jesus to see those innocent little slips where we all think of a turgid tallywhacker at the most inopportune times....
