I do understand and speak some eskimo languages, but the real problem is writing. Although most of the clicks and grunts are about snow and whale blubber, there is an actual language behind all those crude noises. Written language however is entirely different thing. In fact, there were no such thing, until recently. Most of them can't write even today, and writings of those few who can always looks really clumsy. It's because they are just trying to imitate civilised languages, like Godly American.

I've heard that the goth admires aboriginal cultures, dreamcatchers, "special" crystals (they declare them "empowering") and the like. But their languages contain as few as 300 words altogether, or less. Blubber might be one such word, boomerang or yak might be others.

Conversation is extremely linited. None of them have a word for Salvation. How then should the goth be Saved? In the language systems (having neither writing nor metals) these goths revere there is no word for Jesus. Satan is altogether obscured (although the goth culture itself adores him) and grunts is about as good as it gets. And burps in yakdom I suppose. Don't some of them grunt extra hard and get bell-like harmonics in the cranium? That's it for goths. Grunts, bells and HELL FOREVER. It makes me sick.

I don't think I've ever met a goth with a vocabulary of 300 words though. Is that correct Mr Alban?

A typical goth outfit, and although reluctant to include the 2nd link I understand that parents often face comments such as "nobody will do anything too extreme" from goth-curious teenagers and reliable evidence that this is not so is essential for them. Unless this sort of thing is considered not too extreme? in which case we are left to ponder what the goth would consider extreme.

That is far from a "typical goth outfit." You should know that a "typical goth outfit" would usually be basically like punk in black or the romantigoth/victorian goth look.

While Cannibal Corpse is far from Goth, I really don't see how many any band t-shirt is being extreme. Or even how it is bad. It's not much different from a Halloween shirt. Are those evil? Nor does wearing or looking at images like that mean that someone is automatically going to walk out their front door, and go turn those images into reality by mutilating someone like that.

I've already explained to you that Goth is a genre of music/a fan of Goth Rock. If you are not a fan of Goth Rock, you're not a Goth. Cannibal Corpse are far from Goth.

It's not a big assertion. Thousands of people are into horror films/horror art, and they don't all go around killing people or mutilating bodies, or trying to do everything they see in a horror film or a piece of artwork.

Do you have any proof that anyone, who was not already mentally unstable and should not have been allowed excess exposure to those things, were directly influenced by these images and tried to emulate them in such a way?

There is nothing extreme about supporting a band by wearing their shirt, liking artwork, or liking horror films. Anyone who is not mentally unstable, and who has been raised properly, is aware that horror films/images like that are FAKE and that you don't do what is in the film/image. Even my son will sit there and tell you "it's not real. You can't do that."

What I say is true. If you had researched it, and knew how to tell when sources are reliable, you would know this. And no, both genres of music are not exactly the same. Heavy Metal and Goth Rock are two different subgenres of Rock, with very different sounds. Anyone with ears can hear there is a big difference between the sound of Bauhaus or Siouxsie and the Banshees and Cannibal Corpse or Morbid Angel. A Goth is a fan of Goth Rock, a Metalhead is a fan of Heavy Metal. And while you can be a fan of both, no Goth would run around advertising Cannibal Corpse as a Goth.

It's unimportant (to me) whether or not you consider all Rock music to be Satanic. I'm not Christian, nor do I believe in Satan, so why would this bother me? The fact is, all Rock music does not have the same sound. And the world has specific terms to describe fans of different subgenres of Rock, Electronica, etc., for a reason. That reason being, they are not the same things. I'm not sure about the exact percentage, but I'd guess (from what I've seen) at least 50% of Goths actually hate all forms of Heavy Metal. Usually, the Goths would like Metal at all, are fans of Symphonic Metal, Doom Metal, or Gothic Metal, and not Death Metal like Cannibal Corpse. And none of them would call any Metal band or Metal band t-shirt Goth Rock.

If you want to show that Goths are extreme in your opinion, based on what they wear, then find a Goth band shirt you feel would be extreme. It doesn't help to draw your point home if you are using the wrong thing to represent us.

Out of curiosity, are Christian Rock and Metal bands who sing about Jesus and how you should follow the bible satanic as well?
