  • Let's Prevent Heat Deaths in Pheonix, AZ

There are more heat deaths every summer in Pheonix. It was just a few dozen some years ago. This year it may be 1,000.

Why so many deaths in Pheonix? It has a small army of people living in tents who cannot survive 110 degrees without air conditioning. That's what causes 1,000 dead people.

We here in Freehold, IA have no deaths even though Iowa summers are hot. This is because everyone in Freehold lives in air-conditioned comfort. This comfort and safety is the result of jobs and inheritance. Those living in tents in Pheonix need our help. We can teach them the value of getting a job and buying a proper house with air conditioning. I don't want to visit Pheonix this summer, but I'd be glad to record a message with this advice. I'm Pastor Zeke would do the same.

    Amen, Mr. Mayor.

The best way to convince the homeless to get a job and buy a house is to give them a King James 1611 Version Bible. Once they find Jesus and begin tithing regularly, He will provide them with all of the help that they need to turn their lives around.

The worst thing to do is to give the homeless money, food, medical care, bus passes (unless they're one way to San Francisco), etc. This just encourages these losers to continue to participate in their culture of dependency. Remember, give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. But teach a man to fish, and you can collect tuition payments.

That's not how I remember it. Doesn't it go "Teach a man to fish, shame on... shame on me you. Give a man a fish, you can't get fooled again".

      Proverbs 26:9
As a thorn goeth up into the hand of a drunkard, so is a parable in the mouths of fools.

This afternoon it will be 108F in Pheonix. It is a perfect day for those losers living in hot tents to fill out job applications and get themselves a safer place to live. A temp of 108F is one that requires A/C.

I hate to say something bad about a fellow Mayor, but the Mayor of Pheonix, Kate, is a Democrat. Of course I know her. Really, I don't expect her to do what needs to be done, bulldoze the tents and get the losers to work.

Complain, complain, complain: some people will complain about anything and everything. Given the chance, they would complain if they were good-looking! If those people in the tents want some relief from the heat, it is not too hard to find; if only they would get up off their lazy bones and use some initiative! Have they never heard of a hand-held fan, for Heaven's sake?

Well, at least, they are not dealing with ice and snow — now there's something to be grateful for. Imagine if they were in the situation as shown in the video clip below. I suppose at least they would not be complaining about heat, for once; so, there's something for which they can thank dear .

In the pioneering West, heroes like Ayn Rand and Elon Musk built houses out of sheer granite will and iron conviction. It's an embarrassment to our national pride that there are weaklings in Phoenix camping in tents. Real men would have imposed themselves on Nature and subdued it instead of curling up and dying in 108 degrees. Turn it up to 180 degrees. 280. It's NOTHING!

Humans have been thriving in AZ for centuries without A/C. They dug holes or moved into caves. Using a little brain power people can take advantage of the opportunities nature provides them.
