I suppose it's up to your Husband, but to me, a proper lady shouldn't smoke. Smoking is a man's thing. When I see a lady smoking, it makes her seem low-class.

Thank you Rev. I owe you so much gratitude. If it where not for you I would still be lost.

Nothing wrong with smoking. I myself enjoy a nice hefty Cuban to go along with a glass of cognac. However, just be aware that smoking causes many health problems, and Jesus did tell us that our bodies are temples, so a cigar every now and then while you play billiards is okay, but don't become one of those chain-smoking two-packs-a-day people.Originally posted by Butterfly View PostI have a question again....
If my husband alows me to smoke am I aloud to?
I couldn't find anything in my bible. Sorry to be a nusiance.

Re: I have questions. No insults I promise.
I've never known a vegetarian who went back to meat and then reverted to vegetarianism again. It's a mistake that's easy to make, but once you're over it and back in the real world the desire for meat will not fade.

Thank you so much Pastor! I will in the future! I quit both of my jobs and finally ate meat for dinner for the first time in a long time. My husband is so much happier!Originally posted by Pastor Ezekiel View PostRead the Bible!
A woman's place is in the home, taking care of her husband and children. Women who work are walking the road to lezbeanism and communism. Do you want to turn out like Hillary Clinton or nancy Peloskivich?
It is a well-established fact that vegetarianism leads to bestiality and satanism. Take a look at THIS!

Your husband would matter if he weren't already unsaved trash. As I understand, you and he need to get into the intro board together and have Pastor Zeke get both of your acceptance to Jesus. That's the first step.
Should we use just this username or create a new one for him as well?

I feel clean, refreshed and happy.
I looked for a baptist church and the only one I could find does not follow the KJV1611. However I did purchase one and have begun to read it. I've thrown away every spell book I had even the family generation ones. As well as my BOS.
My husband has followed in my foot steps when I showed him this Godly site.
What do I do now?

You need to read this heart wrenching tale of a Christian woman unequally yoked with unsaved trash.Originally posted by Butterfly View PostThank you for the advice.
However you didn't say how life would be like afterwards. Things such as the fact that my husband is not christian and I am not the most submissive woman ever. I don't really know if I could be submissive....
That's what is going to happen to you, if you don't get him Saved.Been there, lived it with my husband...
We had a first child, a little girl, in 1991...then we had a little boy in 1994 that died when he was only 20 days old...that brought me closer to God ten years later...but it brought my husband so much farther...
I have always believed in God but did not obey His commandments as much as I should have had. Once I have repented and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and started reading the Bible, studying it and praying and going to Church, my husband couldn't accept it. That was in 2004...we were even prior to that year, already using very different ways to educate our daughter...
Then, in 2006, I was getting too ''religious'' and ''nuts'' to their liking...he ran off with another woman with our 14 year old daughter at the time...I was no longer a good enough wife for him or a good enough mom for our daughter......
We were obviously serving two very different ''masters''...I wanted God in our lives and he wanted money and another woman instead...our daughter wanted freedom to do whatever she wanted so she followed him...
I now live alone..

Through Jesus, all things are possible. Why even His disciples came from a variety of unsavory backgrounds.Originally posted by Butterfly View PostThank you for the advice.

The first thing you need to do is start studying the Bible. The Word of God can be had for free if you just visit your local Independent Baptist Church and ask the Pastor for one. Make sure you ask specifically for a KJV1611 Authorized Version Bible.
Also you can read one online at www.biblegateway.com. And for your assisted reading pleasure, Brother V has got a wonderful thread going HERE called "Bible in a Year."
The next thing, or rather the simultaneous thing you need to do is to Pray to Jesus to take over your life. Open your heart and tell Him what a worthless, vile degenerate you have become. Tell Him that you want to escape the clutches of satan and renounce the evil you have done through witchcraft. Ask Him to wash your perversions and sins away with His sweet, cleansing blood. ONLY through Christ can your sins be washed away, and then you will know the unspeakable joy that all True Christians(tm) feel each and every day. You, too can be sin free!
God has a plan for our Salvation(r). Read about it HERE.

Butterfly. I came here thinking I was as tough as nails, but I have come to know that I am not.
You will be taught by the Good Pastor's here and especially Rev. Jim and Mr. Hutchins. Their patience knows no bounds, and they really will help you to go down the right path.
I have even got to know a lovely gentleman, Mr. Johnnyboy, who has helped me extensively. You see, despite what the idiotic God mockers say, the Forum members are here to save us. Don't stand with those heathen fools Butterfly, stand with God.
I feel completely at ease here now, no need for anger or stupidity. I have accepted Jesus Christ and am working hard to be a Good Christian.
You can too Butterfly, just read the KJV, don't give in to Satan, study hard. It is worth every second.
God Bless.
