Re: My Parents are Forcing Me
I wish I could respond and clear up any confusion, but it seems that anything I say is considered grounds for issuing an infraction against me. Therefore, I will try to be quiet until the infractions expire.
I thank you all for contributing to this thread.

I apologize if I gave that impression. I do not consider myself to be better than any one of you. We are all brother and sisters in Christ.Originally posted by Petal View Post

Regardless, I feel that this thread is getting off topic. Lets get back on topic and come up with suggestions to convince my parents that this is not the right time for me to get married. They are really putting the pressure on me. I need the help and support from you nice folks here at Landover.

I don't believe in Xenu or Scientology either and I was homeschooled.Originally posted by Je5usIsMyWingman View PostHome schooling would have severely restricted my ability to become a global citizen. If it wasn't for homeschooling, how would I know about the rapture, or the virgin birth, or the resurrection, or any of the important things in life? In public school all they do is teach you how to fornicate using foreign objects and tell you that the first human beings fell out of a monkey's vagina. (gross!
) Sorry, but I have no interest in learning that!

I believe you are not talking in the same scale. It's a dog! All he needs is tap water, $10 in food that lasts the whole month, and a few toys. Total monthly expenses is barely $20.
Where as having an extra human being- the expenses could go way over $600 a month, not including the money she would spend on expensive shoes and designer handbags and what not. I won't have any money left to put in the contribution plate at church.
This is exactly why I wasn't homeschooled. My formal education allows me to correct Rikketoft's mistake. It should say:

Re: My Parents are Forcing Me
Not all people can be home schooled. My parents wanted me to go in a public school, because they did not 'know enough' to teach me themselves. They learned me about the bible and so, but math, english, history and so they could not learn me.Originally posted by Lisa H View PostWhy were you not home schooled.

I never claimed that I have any sort of intimate relationship with an animal... He's just a dog. Most Christians have a dog- I'm sure many of you here at Landover have one.

Why were you not home schooled.Originally posted by Je5usIsMyWingman View PostI do have a real, well paying job. Trouble is that I've been at it for only 4 months, so the savings aren't enough to fund a wedding and support a family. Most of the money I had saved earlier went for my college and grad school expenses.
