It's all the more surprising, Didymus, coming from someone who claims to be a Christian, because the word sought appears more than 120 times in the Bible (KJV 1611). Even you probably know that!


You'd think this young lady would have looked up the unfamiliar word the first time she came across it in Genesis. Otherwise, how would she understand the Bible and how could she claim to be a Christian?

They don't decide, God does (according to the Bible). What they do, is read the Bible, see what it really says, and inform others of those facts.

And the facts are that the Bible says God will send you to Hell for not knowing what the Bible says (and obeying everything in it, 100%, see James 2:10).

It's another example of a person who denies their sin. People like you are always caught with their pants down in sin. Jesus sees this even if you don't.

Possibly because there is no such word as seeked, dear. The past tense of seek is sought. I hope that helps?

As for starting over, that would be a good idea. Why not begin by ceasing to derail Brother Larry's thread. After that you can head on over to the Introduction Forum where you can start your own thread to introduce yourself properly (and politely).

Not at all, dear. I'm simply following your line of argumentation. I'm following your logic. You may not recognize this is how you feel, but Jesus sees deep into your heart, even deeper than you can see (Jeremiah 17:9).

That's what Pastor Ted Haggard said about homosexuality, and then he was caught with his pants down with a young man in a hotel, gallons of coke on his naked chest, and Doritos on his nipples. The one who denies loudly is the closet sinner, dear.

My mother seemed God when she was a teen and has been a Christian ever since and she also instilled that innate love for God. I still have a lot to learn, for I just recently started going to church again after a long period of not attending.

I never called Jesus a bastard, I'm calling Larry a monster for wanting his father dead. What child wishes ill upon their parent? How do you know that brother Larry is a true Christian and close to Jesus? I believe that is between God and him. Its just its rather odd for someone to wish death upon someone-- his intentions seem like they are first and foremost to benefit himself and having his fathers soul saved, it just seems like an after thought. He wants his dad to live long enough for a lawyer to check things over and then die. Wow, prince charming lol. What needs? It just sounds like he just wants his old man's money.

If your father is still alive it is because its Gods will. Why do you wish ill upon your father? Isn't that unchristian? I wasn't aware that people could pray for others to die. This seems akin to a Wiccan putting a curse on someone. You sound like a monster after his money. What is wrong with people on this forum? Then i read a post with people agreeing that its ok for your daughter to get raped? Women are not dispensable tools to be used and thrown away.

How do you know the LORD is not leading Brother Larry like He did Abraham, whom He took under His Divine Wing and bartered for the lives of the righteous (Genesis 18:24)? Brother Larry is a True Christian™ man and a close, personal friend with Jesus. To suggest Jesus wouldn't listen to Larry's righteous pleas is to suggest Jesus is a heartless bastard when it comes to the suffering of His own. Are you calling Jesus a heartless bastard?
