    "Murder" and "God-approved execution" are two totally different things, dear.

    Deuteronomy 13:13-16
    13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;
    14 Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
    15 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
    16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the Lord thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.

    1 Samuel 15:3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

    Hosea 13:16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.

    Now, I know that false so-called "Christians" like to say that Old Testament doesn't count, because since then God has supposedly changed His mind, and became a free-love-for-all hippie type instead.

    So before you start taking that angle, please explain to me this:

    Matthew 5:17-18
    17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
    18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

    And then these:

    Matthew 10:34-36
    34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
    35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
    36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

    Luke 19:27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

    Acts 3:23-24
    23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
    24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

    Romans 1:18-32
    18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
    19-31 (long list of people on the hated list, including but not limited to gays, lesbians, people questioning authorities, people who don't believe in God, people who have too much imagination, etc, etc)
    32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

    I hope that was helpful, dear.

    And Jesus didn't stone the adulterous woman.
    Yeah, but she was repentant for her past transgressions and He did tell her to sin no more.

    Yes, indeed, Brother Jones. The major drawback is its inefficiency. It takes more time, greater skill and more courage (or rage) to kill with a knife. After all, it is so much more up close and personal. Though, perhaps that is its most redeeming feature? The personal touch, I mean.

    When The Lord commanded Abraham to kill his son, (as an example to us all), He did not tell Abraham to shoot him with an arrow, (possibly the most effective long-distance weapon available at the time); God wanted the child bound to His altar first, then Abraham was to use a knife. That is the sort of in-your-face experience that The Lord had in mind for the father/son duo.

    Speaking of in-your-face, that is, perhaps, the other main drawback in the use of knives versus guns. Blood tends to get everywhere. However, that is what Coca-Cola and elbow grease are for, I suppose.

    When all is said and done, knives just can't rack up the body count the way guns can. But hey, sometimes The Lord prefers quality over quantity.

    I do not like liberals either, but I don't believe the LORD is calling us to kill them. Rather, we are called to obey the laws of the land (1 Peter 2:13-17). We honor God by honoring these laws, even if they do differ with the Way Things Were Done in the Good Old Biblical Days.

    But don't despair, dear. We are not abandoned to watch as our world gets sucked into the depravities of the Liberal Agenda. In fact, we are commanded to compel the sinner to come dine at the table of the Divine Bridegroom and His Bride (Luke 14:23-24)!

    Jesus uses this term very specifically, to compel someone to come. Compelling someone to do something is to force them to comply by some means of pressure. In other words, making them an offer they cannot refuse, or taking control of their bodily or mental functions. While we cannot physically grab someone and drag them to church (that would be Kidnapping and it's against the law, except for when it comes to children, then it's called Character Building), we can use... persuasive measures to the best of our abilities.

    For example, with morally loose men in the spiritual jungles of Sinful Portland, I'd suggest a local church's Single Lady Bible Study And Evangelism Group create their own Dating for Jesus (or "Missionary Dating") program to lure men in, and then dangle the hope of sexual favors for them as a reward for Conversion. This is in line with Paul's advice to fit in with the customs of the people with whom you wish to evangelize. I believe this was the purpose of the vision God gave him (Acts 10:9-16). In Portland, the custom is to have sex willy-nilly with whoever is available. Once they have become Born Again, they'll realize the folly of their former ways and respect the women who brought them to Christ. They'll find nice young ladies, get married, start families of their own, and drag their own children to Church!

    Had that train had a few Christian ladies to distract those liberal troublemakers who got in Mr. Christian's way, he might not have felt so enraged as he would have been able to continue to witness to the Muslim gals. Meanwhile, the Christian ladies would encourage the so-called "Good Samaritans" to consider what they had to offer. Christ, I mean. They would ultimately have Christ to offer. But they wouldn't know that at first.

    Then again, sometimes a little "Come To Jesus" rabble-rousing is in order.

    Brother Bjorn,

    I would see it as a case of self defense. He was innocently going about his business of killing his enemies (as per God's instruction in the Old Testament) and these loony liberals took it upon themselves to try to stop him. The only thing he is actually guilty of is not following the Holy Bible to the letter. Maybe he forgot to read the bit in the New Testament regarding following secular law.

    I will pray he gets all the help he so rightly deserves.

    I just spent an hour in prayer for Jeremy Joe Christian. While I was in communion with the Lord, He spake unto me in a whisper, so I politely asked Him to repeat His statement. He got all quiet, so I think I angered the Lord. I think my prayers will still count, being a True Christian(TM) and all.

    The man accused of fatally stabbing two people on a train in the US during an anti-Muslim rant was defiant during his brief initial court appearance on Tuesday, shouting: "You call it terrorism, I call it patriotism!"

    Jeremy Joseph Christian, 35, made repeated outbursts saying "you've got no safe place!" and "death to the enemies of America!"

    "Leave this country if you hate our freedom - death to antifa," he said, using a common abbreviation for the anti-fascist movement.

    Christian, who faces aggravated murder and other charges, didn't enter a plea. He has been appointed public defenders. In a statement, Lane Borg, the head of the local public defender agency, said the office was "saddened by this tragedy" but urged people to let the justice system take its course.

    In court documents, prosecutors say Christian confessed while in the back seat of a police car after his arrest. His court-appointed attorney, Gregory Scholl, did not immediately return a call for comment.
    Mr. Christian, with his Christ-like name and Christ-like hair, is yet another patriot, persecuted by the pot smoking liberal democrat hellhole Oregon. Pray for him.
