Re: Please pray for the victims of the (most recent) Texas shooting
While the idea of being in Church and being murdered is not a pleasant one, I am comforted that it would happen in Gods (Well, Pastor Ezekiel's) House. I also take solace that it would end these terrible days on Earth and I'd be sitting at my rightful place alongside other fortunate dead True Christians(tm) at the table of the Last Supper.
Some people have all the luck.

If we name mass-shootings like Hurricanes then we'll run out of letters before the end of January. Perhaps we can adopt the Arabic alphabet which has thousands of ridiculous squiggles probably. That would allow headroom for growth and also nicely represents how it's Islamic Terrorists we need to fear and bomb their countries. Don't think about it, let's do it now.Originally posted by Brother Gonzalez View PostI am mad at myself for this, but I agree with the heathen Much on this.
Like hurricanes, and other God's intended punishments for His Holy Land of USA, the mass shootings need to start having names.
Also like hurricanes, I propose they have female names.
Can we call this mass shooting "The Hillary"?

From this tragedy we can at least learn one lesson: It is nice to have a neighbour taking the second amendment serious. A plumber carrying a shotgun taking out a rogue soldier, at least to the point he got hurt and dropped his gun and stopped killing people, that to me seems the ultimate reason for people to be able to carry arms.
He was able to help out his neighbours, that seems to be supported by Mark 12:31.

Precisely!Originally posted by Ronaldo Cristiano View PostSo, God wanted this. He's got reasons.
Never forget that He created both good and evil:
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.
He must have had a good reason for it.
Indeed:Children can be evil and corrupt. And deserve to die.
Psalm 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
And don't forget about all of the babies He drowned in the Flood. Tore in little pieces using she-bears as cited in Sister Handmaiden's post. Burned in Sodom and Gomorrah. Ordered to kill in other innovative ways:
Psalm 137:9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.
Hosea 13:16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.
And before you even think about repeating the line that God has somehow transformed (after Jesus was born) from a merciless vengeful powerful being into some shady hippie free-love-for-all type, consider this:
Matthew 10:34-36
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Oh dear. Yes, thought crimes exist, and you can and will be judged by them. Jesus is very serious about this. Giving the example of lusting after women, Jesus says anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart (Matthew 5:28). Committing sin is what leads to eternal damnation, and now we know that committing sin includes thinking sinful thoughts. That's why you must work hard to take captive every thought (2 Corinthians 10:5), bounce your eyes when you see a woman, and pray to Jesus whenever you're not actively focused on something that is known to be safe.Originally posted by Ronaldo Cristiano View PostWork hard to make sure the gays can't get married where you live.

Pray for President Trump who is under attack by the Enemy, for Satan is conniving to make reality look like Trump was involved in nefarious business and political dealings in the same way he makes the earth look billions of years old.

And stay away from salads, for the love of all that is holy. Women and homosexuals eat salads. Eat more meat. Just the meat. Pork chops. Bacon. Steak. Lamb. Maybe the occasional potato. Things like this. Besides, no woman will find you attractive eating a salad. You're one Giant Salad away from that magnificent mustache of yours turning on you, creating for you instead the look of Enrique, the saucy, Mexican Pool Boy. Is that what you want? To attract middle aged Sodomites? I mean, $20 is $20, but still. Ew. Right?

Once, God used wild animals rather than His human followers.
2 Kings 2:24
And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two shebears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

I think the question you really want to ask is, "How can He protect me?" Focus on that, dear. How can Jesus protect you from the evils He creates and allows around you?Originally posted by Ronaldo Cristiano View PostHow did He protect them?

One Papist dialect or another? in the eyes of Jesus there is no difference! And, as you said, mutually unintelligible.
James 2:10
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Jesus knows who is not worth protecting. Many people are corrupt at a young age.
Isaiah 1:4
Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

Dear Cristiano,Originally posted by Ronaldo Cristiano View PostBut they all have died. Isn't that a waste of life?
How did He protect them?
(Sorry if this is impertinent.

If I may, I'd like to add that whatever happens has been considered and approved by God beforehand, and He has chosen not to interfere. God is good and we should thank Him for every single happentance on Earth. I'm going to be extremely helpful and give you a Bible verse in your native Spanish to assist you see the whole Light and nothing but the Light (John 1:4).
Job 34:13
Ben cert! Déu no escolta raons buides,
el Totpoderós no en fa mai cas!
Alarmingly, the numbering of verses in this Spanish Bible has been changed and this is actually Job 34:12
Job 34:12
Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
Still, this will make you see that by allowing this incident God did not do wickedly, as He has told us in His bestselling book the Bible that He does not do wickedly. Praise God!
Yours in Christ,
Elmer
