I'm with you on that one! So many people just flee a marriage rather than making it work. If Miss California's father had stayed with her mother, together they could have helped him turn from homosexuality. Instead, he was thrown straight into its jaws!

I know. I'm just dumbstruck by how the Prejean divorce was handled; A MOCKERY! It probably dragged on for 10 years because the father and his "roommate" were using every underhanded trick in the book (cribbed from watching their collection of old Bette Davis and Joan Crawford movies) to "drag" out the procedings.

But one little girl was brave enough to write the truth.

Also in the docs -- a handwritten letter from Carrie's older sister, in which she recounts a weekend stay with her dad: "One time my sister & I went in the hallway of my dad's apartment, & his roommate's door was open all the way & we saw [the roommate] in bed with another man. So how does a beauty queen turn into the poster child against gay marriage? In the case of Miss California Carrie Prejean, the answer may lie in an ugly divorce that may have cemented her views on gay relationships.

Carrie's parents filed for divorce in 1988 and the divorce and custody fights went on for more than a decade -- it was a divorce filled with homosexual allegations hurled by both sides.

In one of the docs, Carrie's dad describes a confrontation he had with her mom in 1996, in which he recounts an argument in a restaurant parking lot, where "Ms. Prejean accused me, in front of our daughter, of homosexuality."

The papers also quote a court-appointed doctor who said "The mother questioned [within hearing of the girls] whether [her father] was a homosexual or had a homosexual roommate."

Carrie's mom says the "gay" allegations went both ways. In court papers dated May 16, 2000, a report from the court-appointed counselor says "The mother also alleges the father told the girls their stepfather was gay, that all men with mustaches are gay." The father's response: "The father acknowledges talking with the girls about the stepfather's brother being gay, not the stepfather."

This is just horrible. Poor Carrie Prejean is now forced to defend her Janet Jackson-like bared breasts! She allowed semi-nude photos of herself to be taken when she was a minor -- 17 -- which, as we all know, makes her a child pornographer!

I can't help but think this is just a campaign by the MSM to smear this woman. How could good Christian parents permit these photographs to be taken if it was not for some worthwhile purpose? If anything Betty Bowers probably commissioned these for use in her remedial program to turn homers into straight Christians.

I inspected this picture for about an hour this morning to determine if it was pornographic or not. Then I was uninterested in it for about 30 minutes. Then I inspected it again for another hour. Then I was completely uninterested in it. Then I inspected it again for another hour. Then I was uninterested in it yet again.

I'm gonna need to inspect it some more tomorrow.

We know that when a "model" is a minor, their parents must sign a release for images of them to be used. Since the photos have been published, this means the parents allowed it.

I do not know we should rush to judge Miss California. It was her parents who collected the fee, and she was obviously obeying their orders.
