  • Pray for Dominique Pélicot to receive 4000 shekels

Zut alors! The French really do see things differently, and not in the good way recognized in the Bible.

Man accused of enlisting strangers to rape drugged wife goes on trial in France

Fifty men accused of taking part in the abuse of the woman are also on trial at the court in Avignon. More than a dozen protesters dressed all in black demonstrated outside the courthouse as the trial opened.

Police say Dominique Pélicot crushed sleeping tablets and anti-anxiety medication and mixed it into his wife Gisèle’s evening meal or in her wine at their home in Mazan, near Carpentras in Provence. The father of three recruited men to rape and sexually abuse her from an online chatroom, where members fantasised about performing sexual acts on non-consenting partners.
The nerve of the drug-taking French slut to prosecute her own husband! To my understanding is the victim here. The Bible requires payment in the amount of 50 shekels to the stakeholder for damage incurred to his property. Deuteronomy 22 is quite clear. The woman did not cry out and also bears responsibility: death. Unfortunately we can't do that any more but certainly this woman owes the husband something above and beyond normal marital duties.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

There are lots of Catholics in France. Pope Francis is giving more responsibilities to women, raising their status. You are right, Dr. Toole, to point out the unusual practices of drugged French people.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Even though I visited Avignon many times during the period in question, oftentimes with my friend Rush Limbaugh - and I believe, you were also a guest some of the time, Mr. Mayor - I can assure everyone on this thread that Mrs. Pelicot is most assuredly not my type, nor Mr. Limbaugh's.

Thank you for the memories, Dr. Toole. My motto is what happened in Avignon stays in Avignon.
