Not many of you might know that Afghanistan is holding it's second free election EVER, and even fewer of you might know that there are over 60,000 U.S. troops there hunting for enemy no. 1 Osama Bin Laden. This is going to be a dangerous time for our brave troops and they are likely risking their lives to ensure that we are safe in our homes over here.
There will be suicide bombings at election centers and street markets. There will be car bombs detonated at the entrances to U.S. bases and anywhere else that the Military will be assisting the war effort.

Afghanistan: Violence rises ahead of crucial election
The Afghanis are unusually optimistic:
Our troops are fortunate that some Afghans are patriotic and are willing to help:
The p-ssies at NATO are taking the day off to enjoy some Afghan food instead of putting themselves at risk defending the freedom of democracy for the people they are sworn to protect:
The Canadians are doing what they usually do: watch from their desks and make reports.
Always a hater of freedom and democracy and true to his middle name, Ghulam Haider Hamidi the mayor of Kandahar city said that he would not vote and made this statement:
His daughter, who's opinion is worthless, nevertheless made this statement of solidarity with her father:
We're spending billions of dollars in that rocky hell-hole to insure safety for their people and guarantee a free election, and these cretins can't even be bothered to vote. It's obvious that they hate their country, democracy, and by extension, the United States. I don't know why we even bother to help.
Nevertheless, the sons and daughters of America are risking their bodies and souls for the sake of these camel-herders, and they need all the prayer that they can get so that God will watch over them and protect them.
I said this prayer for them:
Let us hope that they survive this election cycle.

Afghanistan: Violence rises ahead of crucial election
The Afghanis are unusually optimistic:
In Kandahar, regional electoral officer Abdul Wasi Alkozai said 254 polling centres in the province were expected to open.
"They are all opened and hopefully we will not have any problem," Alkozai stated.
"They are all opened and hopefully we will not have any problem," Alkozai stated.
Alkozai said that throughout the province, Afghans would be taking it upon themselves to secure the polling centres. The Afghan government earlier announced that they had enlisted election workers, but Alkozai said there are others who are not on the government payroll. "They are not paid by anyone. They are just working for Afghanistan," he said.
NATO's International Security Assistance Force, or ISAF, has announced that international forces would not undertake any offensive operations on election day. Canadian military officials are monitoring the situation.
Always a hater of freedom and democracy and true to his middle name, Ghulam Haider Hamidi the mayor of Kandahar city said that he would not vote and made this statement:
"For the last three years the security is getting worse, day by day," Hamidi said. "Even a child understands that the election day is not safe."
"My message to the women of Kandahar is this: don't go vote and put yourselves at risk for nothing."
Nevertheless, the sons and daughters of America are risking their bodies and souls for the sake of these camel-herders, and they need all the prayer that they can get so that God will watch over them and protect them.
I said this prayer for them:
"Dear Lord, Please watch over our sons and daughters in Afghanistan and protect them in their tanks, humvees, and border stations so that they might continue to do your work in relative peace and safety. Amen."
