Although you are correct that the Catholic church has nothing to do with the Lord, how many refuse to hear the words of Jesus because of what happened to them when they were Children? They're angry, they're hurt, and they're not going to trust anyone after being molested "in the name of Jesus".

So not only are these priests messing up people in this life, but they're destroying them for all eternity.

Amen. I had a horrendous experience whilst I was an alterboy in gradeschool that though not full blown assault, was very uncomfortable. It chased me from God for years as I took my hatred out of the catholic church on the Lord.

As "supreme pontiff" or whatever egotistical title he has thrown upon himself, he is directly responsible for all these rapes. I would like to see a life sentence for each one of these, so he would have 280,000 consecutive life sentences. Perhaps in jail he could get a taste of his own medicine.

I've often been impressed with the organization and discipline of the church of Rome. I see the hand of the jesuits behind this. I hear they have big databases of young boys on the one hand and priests with 'certain needs' on the other.
