It is also possible they came for his brain. I understand he purchased his brain tumor operation on credit.

I'm glad Brothers Latvija and Jedediah are with us here. As Brother Jedediah explained, God wants you to be rich, so it can be that you have angered Him. It might also be that God has some kind of plan which requires you to be poor and unhappy. Those things happen, just remember, it's for the Greater Good! As Brother Latvija pointed out, poverty isn't a sin. Laziness is, of course.

    Malachi 3:10
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Not to repeat the above quote, but it cannot be emphasized enough. The way out of you financial situation is to give up whatever you have to Landover Baptist. The Lord WILL provide you with abundance. Trust us.

Many of the Rich will have their day in hell. Just because you're having a hard time doesn't mean God is punishing you.

    James 1:9-10

9Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
10But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

    Luke 16:19-31

19There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
    22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

    Friend,

What do you think you have done to anger the Lord so that He puts you threw this tribulation?

God has made things tough because you took things for granted. He is teaching you a lesson which for your sake, I hope you learn. If you were a True Christian(tm) you would never go through tough times as God will always provide for those that does as He says. Stop being a God Mocking liberal. Read and live by every single word in the KJV1611 Bible. Get your mind right boy.

Why do you not just take another job? Are you lazy? Proverbs 12:24: "The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor."

    Pray for me, my brothers...

I'm having a difficult time, financially, thanks to our troubled economy and job layoffs to which I've fallen victim.

I've done what I can to stay afloat, and I've done a lot of praying, too, but unfortunately my situation is not looking so bright.

I've asked God to help me, and even though I know he would never put me through anything that I couldn't deal with, things are looking bleak...but I keep working hard to do the things I need to do to get by, but it seems like I can't stay on top of it all

All I ask for is your support.

    Thank you.
Working...
