Re: My grandfather needs your prayers
I will never pray for one who denies God!! And as a result the Holy Spirit!!
Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation
The act of denial is beyond the realm of blasphemy! And anyone here who gives false hope to this desperate person and her damned relative. We have read the KJV1611 of the Holy Word and we know that it is the work of Satan to give false hope!! So I will pray for his eternal damnation by the word of our Lord!!
I pray in Jesus name!!

I agree. It is very sad that he man has chosen Hell over the Loving Arms of Jesus so far. But remember, even the worst sinner can be Saved! Here is an inspirational story, Sister:Originally posted by GOD=life View PostOn the contrary, you should pray for the man. Danny is dying of cancer. The man in the bed next to him tries to win him to Jesus. A compelling story with a happy ending.
And I will pray for your grandfather!

I will not pray for an unrepentant atheist. He has chosen to lie with Satan and I will not shame my name by saying his in the eyes of the Lord.

Church, young lady, good men are found through Church and God.
I am glad you came to your senses and have realized your grandfather is a lost cause and should be forgotten as quickly as possible. Distance yourself with Jesus.

It's a bitter pill to swallow, but I know you are right, Sir.
I will spend more time in Church. I already read my Bible continuously throughout every day but I will read it even more. I trust your opinion and your genuine understanding of God, which I respect immensely.
I want to find a good Christian husband really badly, I just don't know how to go about finding one. I will do anything to be the wife Jesus wants me to be and to raise a good Christian family in His name.
God bless <3

Re: My grandfather needs your prayers
From what you have said about him, he is a unrepentant heathen and doomed to be Satan's butt buddy.
Praying for a person in the eleventh hour is pointless. His bad life will reflect upon you and God will put a smudge on you. Your grandfather failed to follow God's word. It is too late for him.
Do not let his evilness get on you.
Keep away from him. As the day nears, the stench of the evil festering inside of him will get stronger and stronger. I am sure from time to time, you have gotten a whiff of it. Deathly foul.
Instead, spend your time at Church, reading you KJV. Reflect on your mis-deeds and how you can be a better better soldier for Christ. Find a Husband and get married. Do what God wants you to do.

Re: My grandfather needs your prayers
He is out of the hospital now, he only went in to be monitored by nurses for a couple of days. He is having chest pains because he's an 81 year old man with a heart condition. If God's will is for him to die and go to hell then so be it, but I will continue to pray for him in the hope that if God does make himself apparent to him, his heart will be open to accepting God's final love. I will always pray for the eternal redemption and salvation of my loved ones. If it is God's will that he is taken from me and destined to burn for all eternity then so be it, but I will mourn him all the more. At least I will know I did everything I could to help save his immortal soul.Originally posted by James Hutchins View PostHaving a hospital keep the old man alive artifically is against God's wishes. Re: My grandfather needs your prayers
So basically, you’re asking us to ask God to ignore your grandfather’s denial of Christ?
Other than asking things for yourself (Jesus said, "Ask and it shall be given") I have the greatest difficulty with prayer; you are asking God to change His Perfect Mind. This is a bit like you walking into a hospital, finding the brain-surgery theater and telling the surgeon what he should be doing.
The next problem is that only your grandfather can seek Jesus – no one can seek Jesus on behalf of another, our souls are private, yet known unto God.
Comfort yourself with the thought that, if your grandfather buys the farm, it was God’s Will.
