Hmmm . . . let me see.

There have been several kind and practical suggestions-- such as going to hell, some form of self-mutilaton ( ALWAYS a favorite) and the simple, immediate, and complete ceasing to be gay.

Here's another wild and crazy idea. Go to some other forum where people will agree with you.

The good folk here stand by their contention that the Bible clearly and forcefully condemns homosexuality. They didn't make this stuff up, and they have thoughtfully provided many Bible verses that clarify the Bible's stance on this issue.
If the words presented in their posts seem a bit extreme to you, remember that they are not quoting personal opinion, but Biblical example.

If the Bible is too extreme for your sensibilities, you are free from any obligation to read it. What perturbs them is when someone insists on using some hand-selected, santized Bible verse or two in order to support positions and contentions that are clearly condemmed throughout the bulk of its pages.

Read it or don't read it; that's up to you. Obey it or not; that's your choice. Just don't "accessorize" it to suit your fashion sense.

Just remember that nobody here can send you to hell. They don't claim to be God; they don't claim to know anymore about God than you can know from reading the single most significant book ever published.

They do claim to know how to read.

That's where you start at the beginning, move your eyes all the way across the page and then move them down a line. Then you repeat the process over and over until you've finished one page before you flip the page over and resume the laborious effort through every page of the Bible.

You do not skim or depend on cliff notes. When you are finished, come and find us, we'll be here. Then you can tell us what YOU are going to do about being gay.
