Re: Pray for my son's Bar Mitzvah!

Mr. Redstone, I do not understand why you would come to a Christian forum to ask for prayers for your son. Do you value Christian prayers? I mean, I know God does, of course, but since you hate God, why should our prayers be requested?

I don't come into your synagogue and ask you to pray for me. I can't afford it.

From what I hear, it can be very pricey to get a good seat in temple. Are those seats up high the cheap seats, like bleachers in a stadium? And are they the most prestigious even if they don't offer the best view?

Since Jews like to hang on to their money, the members of the congregation who hang on to the most probably don't shell out for the more expensive seats. Therefore, the best Jews are the ones who don't splurge on the nicer seats.

In OUR houses of worship, the best seats are for the best Christians. And the best Christians are the best tithers.

    Shrewdly Yours,

    Handmaiden

Well, the prayer is appreciated. Never have I seen the antisemitism I endure at LBC. Most of these Christians are simply jealous of the Jewish ability to build and retain wealth. The persecution, I am accustomed to, as are my people. Including their Jesus who most certainly was a Jew.

It was a great day for Benjamin as fellow Jews and Yahweh blessed my son with
    substantial wealth.

    May Yahweh bless you.

    Shalom

As a matter of fact, I WILL pray for your son.

I may not be Jewish, but I'll pray to whatever divine force is out there that your son has a happy, successful Bar Mitzvah and that your lord accepts him totally.

I imagine some of us might be willing to contribute to a good Christian College fund for him.

But what do children need money for, really? To go out "hotrodding"? To buy the snugly indecent new clothes their parents won't get for them? To install their own phone line in their room so they can chat away with who-knows-what, far into the night?

What does your teenage son need all this cash for? Did he get some young lady "in trouble"???

Hmm.. so your son's bar mitzvah was held on Shabbat?

I also find it strange, one professing to be such a devout joo, would be ON HERE prior to Shabbat being officially over.

Obviously trying to squeeze money out of people you barely know is far more important to you than your stupid religious ritual!

I shall pray for a towelhead to fly an aeroplane into your son's nose, as a warning to the rest of you to straighten out and get right with Christ.

Who is Yahweh, what's a Torah, why do you want money, and why should I care? Shouldn't Benjamin be working for his money like anyone else?
