  • Please pray for Godly Republican congressman John Shimkus!

Godly congressman John Shimkus has proven that he's on our side. He actually quoted Genesis 8:21 when a bunch of tree-hugging liberals were trying to limit carbon emissions. Now he is seeking the leadership of the Energy and Commerce committee!

Landover, we don't have the authority to vote in the elections who decide the leadership of congressional committees, but I want to urge all of us to pray for an obviously Godly Republican to get this position.

Satan confused me and made me forget to link the story:
Congressman says God will save us from climate change

I'm always happy to pray for Godly Republicans. Always.

Does anyone else here know about this man?

      Thank you.
But whosoever shall deny me before men,
him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

It's high time someone called the lie-berals on their mythology. Has anyone actually seen a so-called greenhouse gas? Besides, it's not as though the supposed human effect on the climate could do anything like the damage caused by same-sex "marriage."
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

so a fool returneth to his folly

            AMEN!

It's hilarious yet depressing that so many people can put all this blind faith in secular science which is based on rocky presumptions. I once met a young man who said he was "converted" after watching Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth. Whatever happened to critical thinking and being skeptical of people who make their livings selling a made-up belief system?

If you listen to Al Gore, you'd think there had never been an earthquake, major storm or warming trend before 1995.
